I love this. It helps with minor fixes if you are embossing a piece but don't want to cover the entire work again with embossing ink. Additionally, it works well on its own - you can sign your name and emboss it! Neato.

This is a good product however it is not ideal for large pieces of embossing at a time. This wasn't ideal as I needed it to emboss a whole page of writing for a wedding gift and the ink seemed dry after just writing one word. However for small details and a few letters at a time it is a good product. I do like that the pen has two tips which is good for little and large pieces of work and it is comfortable pen to hold.

A handy Versamark pen for detailing smaller areas when embossing on card stock.
I love this. It helps with minor fixes if you are embossing a piece but don't want to cover the entire work again with embossing ink. Additionally, it works well on its own - you can sign your name and emboss it! Neato.

I made a bit of a guess when buying this as not very clear what to use it for- it's labelled a 'water mark' pen, but as it was with the embossing powders I presumed it was for that.Luckily I was right and this double ended (large and small nibbed) pen has made embossing small details, my handwriting, or anything I can't stamp really easy. It's slow drying so gives you plenty of time to get your powder on.I've heard people complain that other pens dry out quickly, this one seems good quality so I hope it will last but we shall see.
I’m fairly new to embossing, so this is only the second embossing pen that I’ve tried.I’ve used it with regular white art paper and on black art card - the ink seemed to work better with the paper, although I still found I had to go over the bits I’d already inked a few times to make the powders stick.I’d say try it on whatever material you’re using and see if it works for you, and the powders that you use
This pen version of VersaMark Applicators is handy for so many applications, it's a craft room 'must have'. For those applications where a stamp pad just won't reach, or would be awkward, a VersaMark Pen is fabulous. A touch of glitter embossing powder on a rounded embellishment, or touching up an embossed area that skipped a bit? Fabulous!
The product description says great for embossing unfortunately I didnt find it sticky at all. Its great for leaving a watermark, but thats it.Its unfair for me to leave a poor review for the product, because it does what it was designed to do, which was to leave a watermark, so I will leave score of 4/5. As a work around I rub the VersaMarker pen on the the VersaMark pad to pick up the sticky ink/liquid, which is working for me.
Very impressed with this pen.We didn’t want to use a stamp as it wasn’t personal enough for us so we decided to try the pen.The double end means we can change our writing and still have our personal touch.Easy to use and we were surprised by how long it stays wet enough to add the embossing powder, meaning we were able to write/draw everything we wanted before adding the powder.
Very pleased with the versa mark embossing pen. I have found it useful for adding a touch of shine or shading to balloons for example. It also is useful for filling gaps on a larger projet where the stamp has missed. Great item to have in your stash. Sue Briggs
I originally bought both the VersaMark stamp pad and marker but although the invoice listed both only the pad was included. Customer service was great in resolving this and I now have both.That being said I love both but find the marker especially good for thin delicate enhancements or writing sentiments which I later emboss. Great product and great price.
