I purchased this bench during the peak of equipment shortages due to Covid. I bought it with the optional FID attachment, so it came in around $950 + shipping. At this price point, I would say you're just under 'commercial quality', so my expectations were pretty high.I've been using the bench in my home gym now for about 5 months and I've gotta say, it has smashed all of my expectations! The bench is VERY solid when you are using it in the flat position. The seat has a little bit of wobble and tiny gap in the flat position when you're not sitting on it, but as soon as you're planted, it's not moving! In the incline positions the bench really closes the gap between the seat and the back support. It has 0 wobble and 0 gap when used in these configurations. The width ... The width of the bench is perfect for a powerlifting style flat bench. The versatility of this bench is the biggest reason to buy it. Before this bench I had 3 benches; one for flat bench, one for incline and one for situps. As soon as this arrived I sold all 3, as it really does it all. I read reviews of similar benches being hard to manoeuvre and it did out me off a bit, however once I received the bench and moved it around a bit, it's really not difficult to move around a small home gym. Yes it is heavy (this is a good thing!), but it's not so heavy that it feels like a workout to move it. I usually just use one hand on the handle to move it. The only time I need two hands is when I'm tipping it up to store away against the wall (super convenient btw)Now, as for the optional FID attachment, I would say that this is a pretty great addition to the bench if you plan to use it to train abs, or hit some decline bench. When doing situps, the bench itself does have a bit of wobble when you're getting up there ready to do your situps but unless you're trying to make it fall over on purpose, it'a not an issue. I've personally not tried decline bench on this, but I imagine it would be pretty solid for it.So to summarise, here'a my pros and cons:Pros:- Very well built bench, feels solid all around.- Does everything you would expect from a FID bench.- The 'no gap' feature works perfectly in like 95% of scenarios.- Looks like a proper commercial piece of equipment.- For the price this is the best FID bench out there.- Easy to manoeuvre and store away.Cons:- The gap in the flat position could be tighter, however it's never been an issue for me while benching.- Using the FID attachment and doing situps the bench wobbles a little, however nothing dangerous.I hope this helps you out if you're looking into this bench!

I got this for my home gym and its fantastic. Super easy to put together and start working out. The wheels are smooth and easy to move around, and you can stand it up if you need to put it away. Adjusting the seat and back rest s a breeze, the pull pins are very smooth. Its just a little heavy for me (heavier than the ones in the gym) but as I get my gains, it will be a piece of cake to move it around as needed!

Get this bench NOW! This machine is solid. The parts are sound and quality and the directions for setting up are straight forward and I had not problems getting it setup. It has full 90degree rotation and the base also goes into incline and decline so you can do any exercise you might do at Fitness First or Anytime. The bench is easy to move around but also very stable. No wobbles or shakes. Best bench I own and looking forward to acquiring more VERVE products. (Just bought VERVE Olympic plates - which I absolutely love)
Solid bench, it is heavy but with the leg attachment you feel safe doing weighted decline situps, decline bench press and even vertical situps because there is no movement. Position adjustment is easy and comes almost fully assembled.
This isn't any lightweight bench, solid as a rock. Comfortable and easy to adjust. Nice grab handle for moving around garage and stores upright. Feels and looks like quality.
Got this to replace an existing FID bench and have to say that this is a far superior bench in terms of size and fit for me. The No gap bench is solid and stable and I love the no gap feature as it makes the bench so much more functional and comfortable.
Comes pre-assembled and only had to put the seat and backrest on. Amazing impression of quality right from the unboxing through first weeks of use so far. Wide, grippy bench and incredibly stable. Easy to adjust and looks great. Quick delivery even during a pandemic.Highly recommend
Firstly, Im in love with this bench, and so is my husband and my twin boys. My twins are 6ft +,130kg + Pacific Island men. They come now for garage bench sessions. Its width fits them perfectly and holds their weight well. This bench is solid and a good investment if you are building your own gym. I’ve worked at a few gyms as a PT and I’d say this bench is atheistically pleasing to the eye than most commercial equipment and would cater well to the bigger boys.Secondly, online order, shipping and delivery-Smooth. And it is easy to assemble. Great job Verve!
I’ve been slowly acquiring gym stuff for decades.. gone through a lot of equipment in my time, and I’m at the point where I buy the best commercial grade stuff I can for my gym. I’ve have a number of items from Verve, so decided to give this bench a try, as my old one was just in tatters. _x000D__x000D_I must say, this thing is rock solid. The pins, the frame construction, the stability and comfort when working out. Amazing piece of equipment, and a must have for anyone looking at FID benches. I wanted something that also did a decline for various exercises… and this one hit the mark on all regards._x000D__x000D_In addition, great company to work with. Shipping is fast, customer service is some of the best… you can’t fault Verve!
