Bought the Zen rack with extension, along with the competition bumper plates, to replace some cheaper gear I'd had for a few years. Really happy with the service from Verve, it all arrived really fast and was super easy to put together.I'd umm'd and aahhh'd about which rack to get, and had been trying to compare to other brands like Rogue's Monster and Monster Lite range. Have to say, I am really impressed with the Verve kit and have no regrets.Everything is beautifully solid, the competition bumper plates are amazing value for money (and nice and narrow so can fit plenty of weight on the bar), and I'm looking forward to having this for years and years. Thanks team!

Shopped around for a while for the home gym and settled on this rack. Absolutely rock solid, comes with all the hardware you need including floor anchors. The safety strap system is a huge bonus as a default option over pin pipe safeties. Would recommend heartily. Also a knurled pull-up bar by default! Only issue was I had to tighten a couple of small screws that we're slightly loose on the J cup plastics from shipping.

Verve zen power rack is absolutely the best equipment I have brought in years. Been using it for the last 2 weeks and wished I had brought it a long time ago. You definitely need to buy there incline bench and flat bench too. I use my ptp rubber bands too with it so I have the difference with bands and Olympic bar. I am building more muscle now since I have been using it and I am 53 yrs old. Looking forward in future for a firmer younger looking body. Forget the surgerys this is absolutely the fountain of youth. Weight training will change your life forever but most of all there are no more excuses. Stay strong and young.

The Verve Zen power rack has exceeded my expectations. Packages arrived promptly and safely. Easy assembly using the instructions (make sure you identify the 3 different bolt lengths). The rack is solid and the attention to design makes this a centerpiece for your gym. Love the laser cut height indicators and V logos. The bolt nut and washer hardware is all matching black which maintains the stealth look. The included plate holders, band pegs and safety straps are so well made and integrate seamlessly. The strap brackets have plastic inserts which prevent them scratching the beautiful powder coat finish. I bought this rack to safely train and introduce my daughter to strength and conditioning. We are loving how easy it is to get in the gym and train together using the rack. All the big compound movements can be done and more. Just a small suggestion for keeping you rack pristine maybe some rubber protectors that go over the bottom braces would protect the powder coat finish when doing deadlifts as the collars can come down on outside edges. I’ll try and make my own guards and share it here. I’ve not bolted it down as it doesn’t need to be with the weight of the rack and the plates. I believe in buying the best you can afford and it took me a while to save for this rack and it’s something I’ll have for life.
I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of different brand power racks. Having transitioned from stands to half rack, I had wanted to get back to a full power rack that didn’t break the bank and wasn’t too tight to lift in.The quality of build is excellent, if weighing up the difference between a 60x60 2mm rack vs 75x75 3mm it really is night and day, this thing will not move and is reassuringly heavy when putting it together. Even the laser cut hole spacing adds to the quality.J-cups are good quality and the slings are far more robust than expected, these really help protect my bar and dampen any noise when lifting at home. I ended up adding pin and pipe supports as an alternative for different lifts they were also a cheap add on.If I had one negative it ... MoreI did a lot of research and looked at a lot of different brand power racks. I received my power rack just the other day and to be honest it's even better in the METAL! I’ve been searching for a quality rack for a while and was really hesitant in buying one sight unseen but your video on your website showing all the features/construction sealed the deal for me. Really great job guys! Your service and assistance with delivery to Victoria was very appreciated as well. I also bought your black bumper plates and some other gear and I couldn’t be happier! Now the country can lockdown all it likes cos I’m sorted. Just need that V2 trap bar to come into stock and I’ll be happier than a kid a Christmas! Love your work guys, thank you very much!
If your plan is to start strength training focusing on the basic compound lifts (squat, press, bench press and deadlifting) and you want to do that safely and efficiently at home then this rack is ideal. Super high quality build. I also got the roller J hooks (perfect for squats and bench) and a commercial flat bench. Rack comes with standard j hooks (which I use for overhead pressing outside the rack), safety straps (important for squatting and benching inside the rack when training alone at home) and plate storage (so you don’t have to lug your 20s or 25 around to get them on the bar. Verve team have been super helpful with my questions and follow ups. The Verve Zen Power rack is a great piece of kit - was fairly easy to assemble and is a sturdy piece of kit that is great to use. Unfortunately, the safeties I purchased at the same time were not so great - at first, only one of the safeties would actually fit on the rack.I had to fix the other safety (which came broken brand new out of the box) as the plastic protectors were loose, which is what meant it wouldn't fit on the rack properly. After I fixed it it at least works, although that safety is still very stiff on the rack as it only just fits. Takes a bit of effort to get it off and on.All that being said, the rack is great, just a bit disappointed in the safety that needed some repairs straight out of the box.
The actual build strength is excellent, welds are to a high standard. If I was to critique anything it would be that there are some quality issues with the powder coating. You can see where individual parts where hung with wire or similiar and it has caused clumps and tags on the finished product, as well as small places not covered with powdercoating. The self-locking nuts and bolts are spray painted over and you can see rust has formed on nearly every nut supplied. A bit disapointing, but it is well designed. Once again, the sales person was excellent.
Recently purchased the Zen power rack and I couldn’t be happier. This thing is solid and top notch quality.Verve were great to deal with and delivery was really quick (even interstate).I would highly recommend the Zen Power Rack and the Verve team.
