Best birds food there is on the market bar none!!! Tried every other pellets and couldn't get... any.... bird too eat them! Finally the right recipe for all birds! they not only eat them, but love eating them!! And so healthy, real fruit and vegetables!! No big messes with seed husks every where. Perfect.

I have multiple types of birds from budgie size to galah and eclectus size and they all love and thrive on these pellets and their daily fruit and vegetables. I would highly recommend them.

Best birds food there is on the market bar none!!! Tried every other pellets and couldn't get... any.... bird too eat them! The current product I received was extremely powdery and did not appear or smell as fresh as the 2 kg packaged boxes I usually purchase. I am sifting the pellets as I use them and a good quarter of a cup of pellets is loose powder. I hate waste so I'm hoping to use the floury remnants as feed for the babies (when I do get some hatchlings). I only got the 10 kg bag as I was putting all my birds on principally pellets. Very disappointed with Vetafarm - a first I might add!!
Bought a bag of Vetafarm Parrot Essentials for my 2 month Cockatiel (Tweek) as I wanted him on a healthy diet (no seed). He refused to eat them for the first 4 days until I tried a foraging trick. I placed him on a table with a sheet of paper with some of the pellets scattered on it, without giving him any attention I pretended to eat the pellets by pecking at them with two fingers and flicking my nails together to mimic cracking sounds. He then wanted to try some of the pellets but I moved them away and calmly said no, now he really wanted to try them. Once he started putting them in his mouth, I gave him lots of praise and pretending to continue eating them. Tweek now eats his pellets in his cage without me around, he absolutely loves them! My bird transferred to eating pellets without any problems. I removed all seed and placed the Vetafarm pellets in the dish I normally feed him fresh fruit, Eucalypt blossoms and vegetables. I think he thought they were a treat. He took to them straight away. He now looks magnificent... wish I could share a before and after pic! He seems much healthier on a mix of his fresh food and the Vetafarm pellets.
I bought the pelletsfor my 3 weiro's and a pink and grey galah to try. I left their seed in the cage and added another container with the pellets. All 4 birds immediately started eating them.
