I've compared this welding too my other welders and the flux core welding is so so much better then anything I have welded with and I haven't welded with gas on yet or tried the tig function, but I have tried the stick and it ran very well. All settings are fine tunable and the wall adapter is amazing. Definitely would recommend! No welder around it for the price range.

Ok i purchased a bluepoint welder 23 years ago. Paid $1000.00 from the snap- on truck. I bought it to replace body panels on a 1990 jimmy i still own ti this day. I never pushed it it was body panels it lasted 17 months before 1) the plastic feed parts cracked and broke. That cost me another $340 to fix it. 8 months later it just overheated and just died. One month out of warranty and snap-on told me out of warranty would you like to buy parts. You now know what happened to it. I BOUGHT THIS WELDER AND HOLY SH*T THIS MAKES ANY SNAP-ON AND EVERY OTHER MILLION DOLLAR WELDER LOOK CHEAP I HAVE WELDED UP TO 3/8 STEEL AND HIT IT WITH A 30LB SLEDGE HAMMER AND IT JUST WON'T BREAK APART. MIG TIG ITS AN AMAZING MACHINE. YOU WANT A GREAT BETTER WELDER THIS IS THE WELDER TO GET

The only thing you can really say about this welder is that it's great it does everything that a name brand welder would do, and it does that just as well. The only difference was it cost about a fifth of what a name brand welder would cost. It was a great buy and a great investment, I would definitely recommend you buy this other than a name brand because why would you pay five times more for something that does the exact same thing. If you just have to have the name then go ahead but if functionality is your only concern there's only one choice. Thank you vevor.

I've compared this welding too my other welders and the flux core welding is so so much better then anything I have welded with and I haven't welded with gas on yet or tried the tig function, but I have tried the stick and it ran very well. Really like this welder. I started using it on thick steel with 3.2mm rods. It handled it fine and arc struck easily. Only stuck the rod a few times on a large difficult job.I changed over to gas less flux core MIG to weld a bunch of 1.2 piling material but did not use the crappy wire that came with the unit. Do yourself a favour and go buy a 5kg spool of good wire capable of multiple passes. The MIG works fine.I have not used the TIG so no comment about TIG.The only complaint is the MMA wires for rod welding are pathetically short! Too bad they let themselves down on this point.I am using this welder in Australia and will probably buy one from Vevor Canada when I am over there for half the year.

Didn't overheat in the time it took few brackets to weld.Amps had to be cranked to near maximum, using 3.2mm electrodes so there wasn't much left, in case anyone would want to use thicker ones.On the negative, MMA welding cables are short, and this was pointed out in a few reviews. The other issue is the MIG wire thickness - it accepts 0.8mm, which is standard, but does not have an option for 1.2mm, only 1.0mm. 1.0 doesn't seem to be too common but I'm not a pro so I didn't visit any welding supply joints, just Bunnings and Sydney Tools. Neither had any in stock. I gave 5 stars because I couldn’t give 4.5. After almost 90 days of having this welder I’ve only been able to use it a few times. This is what it has taught me. I still hate stick welding but this machine at 110V with a 6013 is really nice. I love the MiG welding but I’ve not yet found the sweet spot for the wire feed. About 12 amps seems to bead up nicely. I have not yet tig welded. That’s gonna have to wait till I can afford another to hold the argon.The price? Abso-freakin-lutely worth the price. You get what pay for but this time I got what I wanted at the price I liked and zero regretsQuality at this point in time appears to very worthwhile for a 3 in 1 welder. Again the only downfall is no foot switch. IMO.It is fairly easy to use if you are just ½ a percent smarter than the object you are using. Even with a cheat sheet to help find your proper setting it is still a hit n miss situation. Like I stated earlier, I think I’m still off on the sweet spot for the wire feed. It’s just a matter of time to use n get to know the machine to work out any minor details.Now my honest opinion about the vevor brand. So far I have 3 items from vevor. If I had the money or they would come to my house n trade me, I would switch out 90% of all my tools for their products. A couple others I know have vevor also and thus far none of us have ANY complaints or issues I can think of. As for the vevor technical support, hands down the best I’ve ever dealt with. I can’t answer anything about warranty cuz I haven’t had to use it. If it’s anything like their support team, I expect zero issues.I am 56 and not very good at a lot of things I do. The vevor ease of use, support to straighten me out… the point is I don’t quit. I keep trying to learn n get gooder at things I want to do.Take from this what you will or leave it. Either way this is my honest opinion about the vevor company at this point in time.
This is not a 270a welder, with it set to the max it is roughly 150a on a 240v supply.Overall it's decent, my biggest complaint is when adjusting the amperage or wire speed there is a one second delay in the screen changing after turning the knob which makes it hard to set to the desired position.The other problem is, when set to 270a it only outputs 150a, so setting correctly is a total guess, no longer can you follow the guidelines on the internet for easy setup.Just be aware that this is a 150a machine before you buy it.
I Bought this machine purely for the MIG with use of shielding gas feature & with capability of using 110v/220v. This allows the machine to be much more versatile if you are mobile with it as well. I have tested the welds with gas using 110v and got great penetration up to 1/4" thickness. When applying 220v the penetration was good up to 3/8" easily. I did not experience any pulsing with this machine while using it like my other smaller machines did, and I get to us a 11kg spool as well. The flux core wire supplied I tested out by cutting out and replacing the flex pipe on my Honda, and to my surprise, it welded up very easily. So much so that the whole job only took me 30 minutes in my driveway. I love the mig welder, I have really enjoyed the vevor line of tools, and would like to do some YouTube reviews on them. This mig welder was easy to use for a novice welder and was easy to set up. If I had 1 complaint I would like to have the lift tig capability with a hf high frequency start. But a ll and all it's an incredible machine with the ability to weld just about anything that you want. If your considering a low budget mig welder/ flux core,/ mma/ lift tig, this is awesome welder.
I purchased this welder few weeks ago and so far I've used flux mig and mig with gas. I've only used In 110v so far. I've welded for years but never used anything but 220v . I have to say I'm impressed with it so far.it has done everything I wanted it to do. Welds great . My only thing is the way u hook gas to it. I prefer a gas line with a fitting instead of using hose clamps.other than that it has performed very well.ive got to pick up a plug in so I can use in 220 . If it's it welds in 220 like I think it would it would probably got the other star. I'll update when I get it in 220 and a chance to use tig.
