I have grown up with Vicks vapours and this is a superb product. You can spread it on your chest and back (and for children according to instructions) but I swear by the idea of also rubbing it on the bottom of your feet. I think this works by going through the pores and working it’s magic through the body to help you breath. If you are an adult and particularly blocked up, boil some water and put in a bowl, add a table spoon of the vapour rub and mix in, get a tea towel and hold your face for a long as you can stand it, above the steamy, Vicky water and place the tea towel over your head and the bowl. The vapours clear your nose.

This product is a definite winner for me - the scent takes me straight back to my childhood! Whilst it can be a little greasy upon application, as long as you're careful to keep clothing away from it it's not really an issue. Almost as soon as you apply it the wonderful Eucalyptus aroma drifts up and begins to clear your nose. It also gives you a gentle warming sensation across your chest, which can be quite comforting. It will not cure a cold, but it definitely helps with the symptoms and can assist you in getting a better night's sleep. I will always have some of this great little product in my medicine chest.

I just love the new easy applicator. Whoever came up with the idea should get a pay rise. Thank you for making this product so much easier to use. I remember my Mother rubbing Vicks on my chest and back and also putting it in a bowl of hot water and having us kids breathe it in with a towel over our heads to clear our noses and chests. You are always my number one go to.

I purchased this product for my daughter. We had learned that good results had been achieved in the reduction of cellulite by rubbing Vicks Vapo Rub into the affected areas, e.g. hips and thighs etc. My daughter has started dry brushing her hips and thighs and then rubbing in the Vapo Rub at night. After just a week, we have noticed that her skin is more smooth and not showing the lumpy cellulite as before., and she has dropped 1/2 inch in measurement. She has been very pleased with the result so far.
Vicks is a must have product for every household.I use it to ease cold and flu symptoms, clear my sinuses and treat aches and pains.I love the smell and the tingly burn you get when you apply it under your nose, on your chest or even on the soles of your feet.This is for sure my go to product during winter and I find using Vicks means I generally don't need cold/flu tablets which can only be a good thing.Highly recommended.
Very year I buy a fresh bottle to ward of the winter lurgy . To past 2 years I’m been using extra strong with the red lid. I just bought my fresh bottle of extra strong and the bottle I bought last year is stronger. Very disappointed with this years purchase.
Vicks vapour rub is an old school method of of treatment when having a cold or flu, which I was brought up with and has never failed me, my children or my grandchildren. I rub it on my chest and back along with under my feet before placing thick socks on. It can also be placed on a cloth or part of your clothing to help one breath easier. My home is empty without it.

It kinda-sorta rubs in, but leaves a definite greasy residue. My toddler was excited to have something that might help them feel better in the night, and was keen to use it again and again the nights following.
