Brought this mower a few months ago and considering I have the thick couch grass, this mower cuts it with ease. My old Ryobi mower would take three to four catches to empty the nature strip but this mower one catch. Easy to use and now doesn’t take me half a day anymore to cut the grass. Highly recommend Thanks Victa

I’ve owned Victor mowers in the past but this model is so easy to use. No priming necessary and starts with 2 easy pulls which is great for my back. Give you a perfect cut every time. This ones a winner for me.

I bought this a few weeks ago from my Bunnings in Dural.This was easy to put together and actually appears to be a solid built machine. Starts very easy. The clippings box is a good size. Machine is a little heavy but very happy with this purchase.

So this lawnmower is quite good in the sense it starts on first go and cuts the grass. But with the catcher on it still leaves a lot of mulch laying around and it sometimes has trouble cutting the grass as there is excess mulch, so it’s good but not great. I just wonder if I spent some extra $$ what the difference would be. Overall it’s good nothing amazing save your cash and get the $400 version
When I initially bought this I would have left 4-5 stars in terms of how well it mows. Catcher is pretty small but overall cuts well. After about 6 months I have had issues with it starting properly. Sometimes it starts first pull and others it won’t start at all. Not sure what the issue is but I will be taking it back as it’s got to the stage that I can’t really mow.
Bought it Tuesday and tackled my lengthy grass - it ate it up and spat it out. Seriously, this is a very good mulching mower. Just needs more detailed assembly instructions, as I feel if it was your first mower you could be a bit baffled by the lack of detail.
I've had a few mowers over the years. Had this one for 5 or so years now. Extremely reliable, starts every time. Even had bad fuel in there once and although it had difficulty starting it did start, which impressed me. Put better fuel in and started first pull.Will even restart with a half pull (or less) when warm and you are just emptying the grass catcher.
Great mower. Starts on the first or second pull. I purchased this mower as my current Victa has a problem with the frame, Unfortunately, its about 6 months out of warranty. The old one still works, but, the latest model has a better designed frame. So, two 18" cut and catch Victas here in Toowoomba.
Easy and intuitive assembly. Started on second go and has been running fine. Nicely cuts through overgrown grass. Highly recommended
I am very pleased with my machine. It was a nightmare putting together as instruction were the crapiest I've ever come across, but when she came together and she started 3rd pull of the chord, she glided over the grass no worries. Such a joy to not have to worry about holding down a bar to make it work. So far so good. Hope it stays this way. Good on you Victa. A reliable brand.
