The ultimate millennial money guide, from the creator of Australia’s #1 finance podcast Through her phenomenally popular and award-winning podcast, She’s on the Money, Victoria Devine has built an empowered and supportive community of women finding their way to financial freedom. And along with all the practical information, Victoria will guide you through the sometimes-tricky psychology surrounding money so you can establish the values, habits and confidence that will help you build your wealth long-term. Just like the podcast, the book is full of real-life money stories from members of the She’s on the Money community who candidly share their experiences, wins and lessons learned to inspire others to turn their stories around, too. And with templates and activities throughout, plus a twelve-month plan to get you started, you can immediately put Victoria’s recommendations into action in your own life. You are not alone on your financial journey, and with the money principles in this book you’ll go further than you ever thought possible. About the Author Victoria Devine is a multi-award-winning financial adviser who is transforming the way millennials think about money. With a background in behavioural psychology, her own financial advisory business, Zella, and a chart-topping podcast, Victoria understands what makes her generation tick and she knows how to make hard-to-understand concepts fun, fresh and relatable. Victoria has been a guest speaker at events and featured in publications such as The Financial Standard, Vogue, Business Chicks 9 to Thrive, ABC News, RMIT Future of Financial Planning, Mamamia, Elle magazine, Yahoo Finance and many more. She has also been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for 2021. If you can’t find her, chances are she’s at home with an oat latte in one hand and her Old English Sheepadoodle, Lucy, in the other.

An incredible book for anyone looking to empower themselves.

An incredible book for anyone looking to empower themselves and work on their financial future. Not just for women, this book reads as a (very knowledgeable) friend helping you build an understanding of all things money, wealth and finance. With clear suggestions of how to set yourself up for success and an outline of a 12-month action plan, I feel educated and excited to make smart money choices for my future self. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone who is ready to learn more about themselves and their money journey, and build wealth along the way.

Feels like a rip off

This book is basically a rip off/copy of the barefoot investor. Only done to a slightly lower level.Would invest in the “barefoot investor” over this book for sure. Much better read

Great interactive finance book

I'm not great with numbers, finance isn't usually approachable. This book makes it relevant, interesting and achievable. I would recommend this as a gift or for anyone interested in learning more about managing personal finance.

I am a big fan of the podcast by She's on the Money. This book is a great read for people needing some guidance and education on finances (in a fun and interesting way). I would definitely recommend.

I brought three copies
19 July 2021

As soon as the preorder link came out, I ordered three copies. One for myself, one for my sister about to turn 18, and a friend who isn't so great with money.Victoria has written this in a way that makes you feel like you're having a conversation with her, which is a rare talent in this genre. She makes is relatable, relevant and empowering all at the same time. This book has opened to door to financial literacy to so many!

I gave this to a friend to help them on their financial independence journey! And she loved it! Now I'm getting one for myself. Anything Victoria Devine does is quality and life changing! And makes something like finance exciting!

Informative - Not Action Oriented
1 July 2021

This book is jam packed with general information on all the "need to know" financial information any millennial needs to know. If you are brand new to finance and need to get your bearings it's a good book for that. Victoria is a lovely lady and wants the best for her readers and podcast listeners. Though, you would get much more useful action-oriented information from her podcast than this book. It feels rushed through production and is mostly general information for each topic. If you need help getting things sorted for yourself and an actual action plan with step by step help that's easy to understand the Barefoot Investor is a better option for similar price. If I had to pick between the two for reccomending to someone I would say Barefoot.Victoria has provided valuable information here, but a lot of the action you'd need to take afterwards you'd be left to figure out on your own, or possibly be promoted to buy her $300+ master-class. As other books, like Barefoot, give you all the steps and info you need to set your self up financially from just reading the book. It's a well written book with informative chapters, just missed the mark a bit on being helpful to someone who needs to make financial changes.

Meh, basic info
2 July 2021

Basic info about finance in Australia for a young lady/lad, so if you know nothing it's not a terrible book. After listening to many of Victoria's podcasts I was quite disappointed by this book. It lacked actual help and just felt like a slapped together girly version Barefoot Investor, but with less useful content. You'd have to buy her $300+ master-class to get more help. Between Barefoot Investor or this I would reccomend Barefoot, as you'll get actual step-by-step guidance for setting up your finances to be set for life.SOTM podcasts are a great source of better financial info from Victoria and I would reccomend those to a friend over her book in a heartbeat.

The money book you'll actually want to read
17 July 2021

I have never been particularly financially literate, but I wanted that to change. Listening to the She's On The Money podcast and now reading this book has helped me take control of my financial future!! I am feeling so much more confident about my financial life. Thank you Victoria!

Totally love
15 July 2021

Would definitely recommend this book. I listen to the podcast as well but it's great to have different sections depending on what you specifically want to know. Easy read, usually reading about finance is boring and hard to get through but this makes it super easy to understand.
