I'm a knife enthusiast and have always been a fan of the practicality and value for money of Victorinox knives. This knife is no different. Its quite light in the blade and The handle is more akin to the smaller Victorinox knives (think paring, steak, bread knife) so its smaller in the hand than say the larger carving, boning, butchers knives with the handles that we usually use. For me, with large hands it feels different and takes a little getting used to but It suits my wife perfectly. It takes and holds an edge well and is brilliant for slicing tasks. It performs excellently for the price. If u have large hands and/or prefer a hefty knife then the forged version may be more suitable. All in all a great little knife though, especially for those with smaller hands.
The blade especially slices meat thinly. The handle is comfortable and secure to hold, noting that i have small hands. Overall it's a pleasure to use.
