Victorinox Swiss Army 241926.1 Watch - Fieldforce Sport Chrono

I purchased two Victorinox Alliance watches (241712.1 - silver and 241711.1 - blue) and it was a nightmare purchase for myself and the other person who I gifted one.I've owned many watches over the years and have never come across one with a design defect where the clasp is so sensitive that it unbuckles itself with the slightest wrist movement. It is not an isolated incident as the other person was also experiencing the same problem.Long story short, the watch clasps were replaced however, upon receiving back the watches, the same issue occurred.If you thinking of buying this, you'll have a beautiful watch but the downside is that you cannot wear it.

I bought this watch as a gift to my boyfriend. The watch looks beautiful and feels solidly built. My boyfriend has relatively slender wrists but the Fieldforce is not overwhelming courtesy to being only 42mm diameter. Still early days to talk about durability but the omens are good.

I bought it because watch looked great and I thought that legendary name like Victorinox guarantees reliability. I was wrong. It worked for a year, then in a periods of 3 to 6 months something was wrong, watch stopped or started to get late. Last month I decided to take it out of the drawer and give it last shot. Service told me that machanism is broken and need to be changed atfer 3,5 years of using. Watch cost me a lot of nerves, big disappointment.
