I’ve used this tool daily on the job as an electronics technician for over 10 years. It is as close to perfect as a person could reasonably expect. It’s comfortable, extremely well-designed and built, reasonably light, and even beautiful. The locking feature of *all* the tools in the handles adds a nice dose of safety that is lacking in lesser tools. Some say that Victorinox tools are maybe a bit “softer” or more rounded than others, but I can tell you after my extensive time with heavy and sometimes hard use in a steel mill that it is remarkably durable. It’s difficult to find any faults with this tool, or even ideas on how it could be improved.The amount of tasks I can complete with this alone is impressive. It’s general-purpose, but works especially well for electrical and electronics. The notch in the wire cutter works well as an adjustable wire stripper. The scissors are excellent for cutting very small wires or strands, i.e. those in ethernet cable before crimping. The pliers can get the job done turning the odd smaller bolt (tip: cover the bolt head with a rag to avoid marring it). The awl is great for the odd poking job, for reaming out holes cut in metal, and for cutting holes by itself in plastic. The file is excellent for smoothing rough edges on metal. The fine screwdriver is perfectly sized for the small terminal screws common in electronics. The phillips driver is sturdy, well sized for #1-#2 heads, and has excellent reach. The large screwdriver is very sturdy, provides even more torque than a typical screwdriver, and is excellent for prying. The round blade is great for scoring cable before stripping off the jacket. The chisel is great for scraping off stuff like adhesive from a surface you’re trying to clean. I’ve even used the saw to completely cut through large, multi-conductor cable, and was amazed at how well it worked for that. It also zips right through plastic.Unless you need some specific odd tool this doesn’t have, or maybe you need more bulk, your search ends here. Especially if you’re in the electrical field.

I have used one for over 8 years now, and it used many times a day. Brilliant tool that is simply amazing. I feel lucky to own one. This is a quality item that is compact. I used to use the larger Swisstool for a few years but much happier with this compact size. I had used previous to this the Leatherman wave for about 8 years and broke so many during this time it was a joke. The jaws particularly on the Leatherman are simply not strong and would become bad after cutting anything pretty much. The swisstool is a much better quality item and sustains a lot higher level of abuse. Well worth the investement, the old price used to have the swisstool about 40% more than the Leatherman and now this is on par.. It is a real steal. This tool is amazing! All the right tools for wilderness and urban carry. Easy to stash away with the pocket clip. All tools have the same satisfying click as a Swiss Army knife. Superb engineering and ergonomics. Beautiful highly polished finish. This is an amazing multitool, and the best I've ever used. My new daily companion!
