This seems to be a perfectly good battery charger. Solid construction, easy to mount, comes with two alternative connection leads, stays cool, works well. If all you need is a good charger then it's excellent. If however you need the advertised Bluetooth functionality, then take a look at the App page on the Google Play Store ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.victronenergy.victronconnect ) before you buy. There are quite a lot of complaints there about unnecessary permissions and it simply not working. I have been quite unable to get the app to connect to the charger on my phone. Seems to work fine for its basic functionality though.

This is the second Blue Smart charger I have purchased. It charges the lead-acid/gel/AGM batteries safely and will not harm the electronics of your car. The charger is intelligent and has multiple charging stages. These chargers do everything the other well known Swedish brand of chargers do, but adds the Bluetooth connectivity. This enables me to monitor the charging process without having to go to the charger every time. I highly recommend this product!

Highly recommended for secondary vehicles where you can easily and remotely look at the battery status.One issue was when first connecting to the device caused a required update, and after more than an hour of multiple failed attempts it finally worked again. If the support could update the devices before shipping so the customers do not have to run into mischief, that would greatly help.

Really does the trick of charging acid batteries that have been bashed by load shedding. It also has a reconditioning mode which should be used on your batteries when you have around 48 hours of uninterrupted power. I gained back 2 hours worth of power after using it!

Excellent charger, great build quality. Easy connecting the app. It comes with fly leads but they are not the inline fused version. You need to order those separately.
One of the easiest products that I have received in terms of setup and use. The bluetooth functionality is a must to see the status of your battery and determine how much of energy was transferred to it. just plug in the charger, connect it up and it does it's job. I have already charged 2 vehicle's batteries which were flat, which means that the product has already paid itself back.
To survive load shedding, we have replaced our standard small 12 V alarm battery on the electric fence with a motor car battery. To get the max out of this investment, we have installed a smart charger that will not over charge the battery. Seems to be working well.
If you are in the market for a new 12V 5amp charger then look no further. Highly recommended
Excellent service once again from Live Stainable. The charger is a quality product but I found the Lithium function to be a disappointment. Although the recommended battery size shown on the spec. sheet is in the range 20-50 Ah, this does not seem to apply to LifePo4 batteries - battles to get past the Absorption stage at the higher amps. To put it into perspective, I subsequently purchased a dedicated Lithium charger (also 5 Ah - but not a Victron product) which successfully charged a Hubble 100 Ah drop-in battery. Admittedly took a while but completed the various charging stages without any issues.
