I replaced an Orion Tr Smart with the Orion XS. This is an extreme upgrade for boats. First of all it is waterproof. It is much lighter without the large heat sink. It is also much smaller. It is about the size of the ACR I replaced. I highly recommend it! It powered my all my boats electronics and two bait well pumps without any draw from the house batteries.

Only been for short drive to check but it works fine and is connected to a cerbo I fitted.Seem to have lost the stop start function on the van but probably because of the charge.Victron can be pricey but it’s the best and simplest way!

Typical Victron quality at the best price I could find online. The charger does the job perfectly, you may want to check the output of your alternator to see if it's up to the job of supplying 50 amps on top of running the vehicle, I had to upgrade mine
