Overjoyed with my inverter! It was fitted into my mobile coffee van yesterday and the issues I had wth the previous inverter were instantly solved and my grinder works perfectly. It is also much smaller than the replaced one so we've fitted something else in alongside it too which had created a little more storage space. Super happy with the product and the service from 12 Volt Planet. Thanks guys.

Home Essentials Direct is incorrect.. anyhow, runs my microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, soldering iron, toaster, just fine off a lithium battery.. its like magic running a microwave oven w/out the generator while boondocking.. Efficency is high, idle consumption is low, power is clean.. going to be a great workhorse.. top of the line, beats the pants off the others.

I am using this in my camper van which has 3 100W solar panels. Ive had the van a year or more and usually just lived with only having 12v chargers for things. However this has been a great add. I can now string lights outside my campsite and have an external led light without having to deal with more wiring. I just plug in an extension cord and have power. Have not seen any additional drain on my batteries.
I have this inverter for about a month now and it hasn't disappointed me at all. I upgraded from a Novapal inverter that would shut down while my batteries where being charged from my solar panels on peak sun. This invertor stands tall and handles all the loads I throw at it and doesn't shut down like my old inverter. It's a great buy. I trust Victron products and its an added bonus getting a 5-year warranty. If you are on the fence to get this bad boy, I would recommend you to buy it. You will be happy with your purchase. The customization options set this invertor apart from the rest. Only thing is if you want to connect via bluetooth you will need to buy the Bluetooth add-on.

I have to admit that this unit is a lot bigger than I was expecting (I hadn't checked the dimensions beforehand) I had also just recently bought a VE battery charger so was thinking it would be about the same size but it's not, it's significantly bigger. I was worried that it may be too big for its intended living space, especially as the Inverter it was replacing could fit into it nearly 3 times!! However installation was straightforward and so far has served its purpose as expected. It's a little disappointing that you have to spend extra money to get a display and that ... This review is for the Phoenix 48 |1200 puer sine inverter. I bought this to power the garage fridge from solar. Works, but if the fridge short cycles the has a bit of trouble starting that next cycle, the 2000W peak rating is a bit weak for my application. I like the ECO mode operation , the unit only uses 2.4W in this mode while looking for a load. I bought Victron and expected "top of the line" quality, but I am a bit disappointed: case is a bit flimsy and there is absolutely no "extra" performance over the listed specs. It works for my application but I feel like one of the Cheap Chinese units at 1/3 of the cost would have been just as good.
Easy to install and love the Victron Eco-system. Get the Ve.Direct Bluetooth adapter to connect via Bluetooth to monitor/ configure inverter while monitoring rest of your Victron system.
We wanted to be able to heat up food in the microwave in our Jayco 145rb trailer when we were traveling. The Home Essentials Direct labeling is wrong. It is a 1200 VA inverter (roughly 1000watts) We use a small 600w trucker microwave ( https://amzn.to/2X0BTaL ) and a small lithium-ion battery pack. The microwave inputs 960watts. The inverter is rock solid. The best feature is it's extremely broad input voltage 9.6-17VDC. This matches well with 4S Li-On batteries and allows you to use the full amount of battery capacity
Works great.... Will output more then rated power for some time.... No regrets
