vidaXL Bike Cargo Trailer Black and Grey 65 kg

This is a great trailer. I use it to do my grocery shopping and it carries a shopping-cart-full with ease.However, I needed to modify the bike attachment bracket to suit my bike's quick-release skewers.

Perfect for what we needed, we took the walls off so the kids can cart a cage to collect there 10c bottles at the caravan park. Only down fall is delivery information, no real updates other then left the shop

This a very poor quality product. Very flimsy construction. Probably quite unsafe if attached to a bike. Almost immediate rusting points.Should not be allowed on the market

Came pretty quickly, product was pretty good. Had to be assembled(just 4 screws) but one end of each pole had plastic covering the thread and the fold up posts of the container frame are loose and rattle. I wrapped inertubes around the posts three times and made holes with a soldering iron, but rubber washers would work. Otherwise it does the job well. Pretty happy with the purchase seemed a bit expensive but it's competitive with online prices.

Dangerous

Tyres wore down after only a few miles and I had to stop using this after 20 miles of very careful use. Then one inner tube exploded whilst in storage. This is flimsy and unsafe for use on the road. The clip fixing the tow bar in position fell apart and had to be mended with pliers. Do not buy this product, it is a complete waste of money.

Does it's job but not up to spec.

Only had this a couple of weeks and the tread on the tires has almost gone (I'd say under 20 miles) Advertised max capacity (65kg) is wrong, manual says 30kg. Screws keep coming undone. Like the title says, it serves a purpose but isn't up to spec.

Durable cart

This is a good sturdy cart but you can't let anything push the liner out so it possibly touches the tire. Mine did this and it tore holes on both sides. I took the cloth out and fit in 1/4" plywood and now it works wonderfully. The cover isn't that great - it doesn't cover very well and if it was raining everything would get wet so I'll make my own cover. But the cart is very durable.

Easy to Setup and Good for Weekly Shop

I ordered this to deal with the shopping trips rather than take the car. It was fairly easy to put up, but I had to look up how to hook it up to the bike, but after a 2 minute scan on google, it was very easy to resolve. On the initial build, the fabric covering was ripped, however, the supplier sent out a new covering with no issues. The test trip was the two kids in the back of the trailer on a 30km bike ride, which wasn't what it was designed to do, but it held up well, took the weight and was quite robust.

Excelent benefit-cost ratio

I don't regret buying it. Pretty sure it was the best available for the price.

Nice trailer

Cheap to buy, good quality trailer for bicycle. The fabric load bag is a bit flimsy, and definitely not waterproof, but for the price paid the overall trailer is excellent. I made one small modification: the four bolts.that secure the crossbars have been replaced with bolts with wingnut style heads so that I can assemble and disassemble the trailer without the need for tools. I will probably replace the bag in the fullness of time, but it's fine for now.
