Villeroy & Boch Manufacture Rock Champagne Flute 260ml Set of 4

These glasses are surprising thick and heavy. Not at all like other Villery & Boch glasses I have purchased. Also the 'Villeroy & Boch' stamping has been done on the underside of the glass, so not visible, and had been done in mirror image - so unreadable! Clearly these glasses are "seconds" but no information explaining that was given. Very disappointing.

Audun & Promonade Dinnerware

We recently got married and now are complete with a "his & her's children" family (2 thirteen yr. old boys & 2 eight yr. old girls). To accomodate our expanded family we are remodeling our kitchen and eating area to seat all six of us. With the remodel underway, the only lack of duplication in our households was the need for new dishes. We love the ability to mix and match the Auden & Promonade dinnerware, the appearance and quality! Our children can help load & cook with the dishes as they are resistant to chipping and overheating in the microwave. These dishes are beautiful and can be used in our busy family's everyday lives as well as when we entertain.

Best deal

I purchased auden teacup and saucer set. It's beautiful and elegant. When I have a tea time with this set, I feel very refined. Also yellow color of it is very comfortable for me. Yellow and dark grey is fantastic matched. The picture is very delicate touch. So I like this set. And I will make additional purchase.

Country French Elegance

I have been collecting the Audun pattern for several years because of its timeless classical elegance. What's especially nice about this set is the fact that it can be used in both formal and casual settings. While this set is extremely beautiful, there is no need to worry about hand washing because it is dishwasher safe. It also works well with most color palettes so there is no need to worry about redecorating. And most importantly, it brings me much joy each time I set my table for a meal. It also evokes compliments from all of my guests. Don't let this set pass you by because I've been told that this set may be discontinued.

Fabulous

I have been using these dishes daily for over ten years with three kids. They are amazingly durable and have lasted better than I hoped. Dishwasher safe and haven't had any chip. Love them!

Love the charcoal colored stem of champagne glass

I got this for an engagement gift as I have all Villory and Bach from Bloomingdale’s’s.

Love these dishes!

I love the pattern and flexibility of these mix and match dishes. There are so many different combinations, which you can dress up or use for casual meals. You get the quality of fine china which can be set formally, but no gold banding- so these can go right in the dishwasher. I also love the selection, there are so many pieces to choose from. My husband loves the rice bowls! They are super durable and won't chip either. Overall- great buy if you want one nice set of china that can be casual or formal, and will last a lifetime.

Practical luxury

My daughter and I just got back from a wonderful spa vacation. Although we were served food that was low in calories, it was beautifully presented on exquisite china and linens. One of the ideas I brought home with me is that food somehow tastes better and is more satisfying when it is presented on fine china. So along with adapting my new diet and excercise program, I went to my local Macy's and purchased the Villeroy & Boch "Audun" dinnerware, mixing and matching the ferme, fleur and promenade patterns. I have always wrestled with the idea of whether to spend more on company china that is used infrequently, or on everyday china that will give my family more pleasure. I decided my family was worth more to me than company, and I have not regretted my decision. The china pattern seems to go with almost any color scheme, and makes a striking table setting dressed up with crystal, candles and flowers, or dressed down with a marroon placemat and everyday glasses. So although I bought it for my everyday china, my good china ia so formal that I plan to serve it for company also. The mugs have a wonderful feel against the mouth, and as elegant and delicate as the dinnerware looks it easily goes from microwave to table to dishwasher. I also like the fact that it is an open stock pattern. My four place settings and 8 mugs may have cost me more that a 20 piece dinnerware set, but I can add to the Villeroy & Boch place settings in the future or if I break a plate I can replace it. Also, the beauty and quality of china is such that your children will remember meals served on it and want you to hand it down to them. If you are a newlywed picking china for the first time, this pattern will do double duty for company and everyday. Or if, like me you are retired and want to set a stunning table without formal china, the Villeroy & Boch "Audun " dinnerware is for you.

So pretty

I ordered a large set for everyday and casual use.The dishes arrived quickly in several batches, and they were all well packaged so there was no damage.I am very happy with my purchase, I use the dishes every day, and each time I reach for one it brings a smile to my face. I chose 1/2 and 1/2 Promenade and Fleur, with my soup bowls in the Ferme pattern. The combination makes it very easy to set either a casual or formal table.

Worth The Investment!

I’ve owned this pattern for decades. So worth the investment in beautiful plates and bowls. Love this classic design today as much as I did when I made the original set. Durable!!
