Ideal for urban photography, this pancake lens offers a fairly wide perspective when paired with an APS-C camera and provides a full-frame equivalent focal length of 42mm. Thanks to its ultra-thin and lightweight design, the lens is practically unnoticeable, making it ideal for capturing spontaneous photos. The front lens cap is integrated into the lens and opens and closes with a sliding lever, eliminating the worry of losing it and offering better dust protection. Additionally, the lens is protected by a multi-layer nano-coating that prevents damage from dust, oil, and water. Key Benefits of the Lens The optical design of this lens incorporates two aspherical lens elements and two extra-low dispersion (ED) elements for better contrast and higher image quality. A voice coil motor (VCM) drives the focus of the AF 28 f/4.5 XF to achieve fast and silent performance. 52.07° angle of view to capture relatively wide perspectives with APS-C cameras. Minimum focusing distance of 1.1' when working close to the subject.
