This camera does well in that regard too.Standard installation was a breeze for me as this was not my first day cam. The cord from cam-to-cam is a little thicker but you'll be able to hide it even if you have to "double up" or run it next to the power cord. The manual shows the main camera being mounted on the passenger side of the rear view mirror. You'll want it close to you depending on where your steering wheel is lol. The L-shaped connectors may make wiring a little creative but you should end up with a clean looking install regardless.BBMC has been a great resource during my new dash cam search. I live in the US (East coast) and wouldn't hesitate buying from them again. Their pre- and post-purchase support is indeed top-notch.

The recording quality is excellent even though it's not a 4K camera and it's relatively easy to install. Haven't gotten the hardwire kit yet, but probably will do so in the near future so I can get parking modeOnly downside would be the slightly slow file transfer through the app, but it's not a big deal breaker for me since I usually take the memory card out to view the files on my laptop anyways
Crystal image and smooth video, front and rear camera quality are good, day and night. Camera include everything you need except for the SD card. Wires are long enough for mid SUV for full size SUV you might struggle. Wifi connection to the camera might take some time, but it works and you can play videos from the SD without downloading to your phone. GPS works well.Camera have bunch of setting so you can play with them as you like.I guess the bad thing about this camera is the lack of internal battery, if you need 24/7 recording loops you need to get the extra hardware to “plug” in a fuse box.I got a 128GB Samsung High endurance SD card which is intent for this type of devices. Don’t get a cheap SD card you will regretted.
Please don't buy this camera. My wife bought this camera and I liked it so I bought one also. At first mine was working fine for 3 weeks, and my wife's was working good for over a month. When hers started having issues we tried everything to fix it but it wasn't connecting to my hone nor recording. We called Amazon so that they can refund for her but the 30 day warranty was expired. We contacted VIOFO customer service and they sent us another one. By that time I had already returned mine and I got my refund back. I purchased another brand VAVA Dual Dash Cam and gave it to my wife and I used the new VIOFO camera sent by them. After 2 months now it stopped working again not recording and not connecting to my phone again. Please don't waste your money on this.

The app is also very smooth asides from couple frustrating bits such as having to pause recording to navigate the SD or enter Settings, or not being able to unlock locked footage from the app and having to use the cameras navigation menu. This is frustrating because in many instances the camera is placed behind the mirror...etc or not ideally placed to easily navigate the tiny screen and the cables are routed in such a way that moving the camera temporarily is not an option, whereas i rate the app very highly when it comes to dependability. No problems where you accidentally lose footage...etc, although sometimes navigating back and forth from the SD menu to Live-View back to SD, Settings...etc can cause the menu to fail to load (simply have to quit the app and restart, no biggie), i would not keep small things like that keeping you from buying this device as reliability should be your #1 concern. The box comes with everything you would need except the hard-wiring kit, plenty cable to route around your vehicle trim even if you decide to go from the edges to the base of your vehicle rather than along the roof trim. The box also includes extra double sided tapes in case you need to readjust the positioning of the cameras, it even comes with a plastic gap opener to use while routing the cables through your vehicle panels and even a cigarette lighter USB charger which you can use as a back up USB port when you ultimately hard-wire the cameras. I purchased mine refurbished which came in brand new condition with GPS and rear camera for around $40 less than the already low price of the standard version, so a great find and i definitely recommend this camera unless you prefer the aesthetics of the Thinkware or Blackvue.

The tips of the hard wire are so fine as to make them nearly impossible to strip. Also the wire is manufactured in such a way as you cannot separate the positive and negative any further than the 1/4 inch ends. The hot fuse and ground in my truck are quite far apart 8-10" and because of this I abandoned the hardwire for now and went to the plug in. Finding software for the GPS is difficult. I decided on "Dashcam Viewer" as others have liked it. Well my GPS data does not transfer to the program. I've used both 64GB and 32 GB Sandisk SD micro cards with adaptor and the 32MB seems to have a better data collection rate. The camera came with the most current firmware version so that is not an issue. Bottom line, be ready for hours of video review and emails to tech support as this is not that easy to use. I eventually want to be able to use my GPS log if ever needed to support a claim. I like the mph feature for the same reason. Recording and transferring video to the PC is a breeze. The size and the location of the camera are very nice and I was able to route the line in such a way as the installation looks like this is part of OEM equipment.
