This Vitaquick pressure cooker works amazingly!! It cut my soup cooking time down to a fraction!! The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious! I can’t wait to make other things in it! It came with an instruction manual and came packaged great in its box!! It doesn’t take up much room in your cabinet either. Definitely looking to get more!!

Heavy duty saucepan here. My favorite detail is the measurements etched on the inside. I have a diabetic son, so this is really handy for measuring. Also, when a recipe calls for 6 cups of water, I can just fill the pot to the line rather than adding 6 measured cups. All pans should have this. Great long handle, too. Very happy with this brand!

Best cookware I ever owned. It’s such a great quality product. Very heavy material and easy maintenance, very easy to clean , not much scrubbing needed. I would definitely buy other items beside this pot and make it a complete set . And the measurements inside of it made it so easy to add your liquid without using a different dish. THE BEST !!!!! Hands down
This pressure cooker is well-made and of high quality steel. It made my beef casserole tender in 30 minutes. The only struggle that we had was the initial use—How to vent and monitor it. There was a booklet but it was missing basic instructions. The pot is easy to clean after use and compact enough to be stored with other pots and pans. I would recommend.
I always wanted a pressure cooker but I was terrified that it might explode. When i received the Fissler Vitaquick Pressure cooker I was nervous and excited at the same time. I read the manual in two languages to make sure i fully understand how to use, clean and maintain the pressure cooker. The first thing on the menu i prepared was braised beef with a pretty tough cut of beef. I expected this to cook stove top in a conventional pot for 1.5 hrs min so I set the timer to 35 minutes for the Vitaquick. I figured less than half regular time allotted would be safe to make sure it doesn’t get over cooked. When it was time to release the steam I pressed the valve on the side, hot liquid spray traveled 5 feet in both directions. I figured less than half regular time allotted would be safe to make sure it doesn’t get over cooked. When it was time to release the steam I pressed the valve on the side, hot liquid spray traveled 5 feet in both directions. I’m so glad no one was nearby when this happened. Then when all the steam was released I opened the pot to find perfectly tender braised beef. The flavor was well infused with all the aromatics I put in the pot and it was just scrumptious! Despite the learning curve on how to release the steam, I was eager to try another dish so I tried baby back ribs yesterday. I also expected this to cook over and hour but to my surprise it was practically overcooked in half hour. The meat was fall apart tender and even the bone was soft. It made my carnivore family very hoppy! After using this pot i’m no longer afraid of the pressure cooker and now i wanna make every meal with it. The only negative comment i have is the manual is not very helpful for pressure cooker newbies like me and and all the how to youtube videos i found was in another language so it was no help.
I was super excited (and a bit nervous) to use this Fissler Pressure Cooker because I’ve never used a pressure cooker before. The sounds it makes can be a bit intimidating but luckily the instructions are super simple to follow and everything is straight to the point. The safety measures that this pressure cooker has pretty much makes it fool-proof. I used my turkey carcass to make turkey stock and was able to get a beautiful stock in 55 minutes which is amazing! I would highly recommend this pressure cooker, definitely a staple in the kitchen.
I got this from influenster and was super excited. I love cooking and I love to collect appliances. I have used pretty much everything except a pressure cooker. I was not familiar with how to use a pressure cooker so I had to watch a few YouTube videos. I will say there is a learning curve and the instructions are not super clear for someone who is a beginner. I made beans that would normally take a few hours to get soft. I cooked them in 20 minutes. My mind was really blown. I know that this is what pressure cookers are supposed to do but it was truly amazing. The flavor was spectacular and I was done cooking in a quarter of the time it would have normally taken me. I’m happy to have this and it will be in my line of cooking. I said "whaoo", when I opened the product box. The product is packaged beautifully and carefully. Solid and impressive design. However, it is quite heavy, I have to use both hands to lift it. Hopefully I will be able to cook a delicious stew for my family on this coming Christmas.
Most likely the best pressure cooker brand in the world. The best I have ever used, for sure. While growing up in India, I've either used pressure cookers or seen them used for several decades. There were some well-functioning ones in India, but most had durability issues, especially with their handles. In the U.S., I bought Presto, Zavor, Instant Pot, and a few others in the past. While some were durable, none of them seemed to go up to 15 PSI. Zavor was the biggest disappointment. I bought it thinking it looked nice and resembled Fagor pressure cookers. However, it always had many leaks and never worked like a proper pressure cooker. Instant Pots are great products, but they don't have the speed of Indian stove-top pressure cookers. Then I bought an 8.5-quart ... MoreMost likely the best pressure cooker brand in the world. However, it always had many leaks and never worked like a proper pressure cooker. Instant Pots are great products, but they don't have the speed of Indian stove-top pressure cookers. Then I bought an 8.5-quart Vitaquick Premium. I was immediately impressed by the quality of its construction. It's heavy and feels like it's built like a tank. There are no weights to remove, and the pressure release mechanism is so easy and safe. The gasket material also seems to be of better quality than anything I've seen. We use turmeric in many preparations. So far, this gasket hasn't absorbed any of the yellow color from turmeric. Many pressure cookers I used in the past leak steam near the handle or by the gasket just before they reach the pressure level. This one doesn't do that! That means the exterior of the cooker and the stove top remain clean. Cleaning is easy too—the main handle can be removed easily if needed. The best part is that it cooks like a proper pressure cooker. It definitely reaches higher pressure, and thus a higher boiling point, than any other brands I know. I can see that in one item specifically—the cubed goat meat from Australia that Costco sells. It takes 15 minutes to cook it fully after the pressure is reached. We couldn't get it cooked in 45 minutes in the Zavor! In summary, this is a fast cooker that is built extremely well. It feels very safe to use, and it looks like it will last for a long time.
