Fantastic tires for a gravel / road and even packed dirt single track application for putting on miles and training.
I had a lot of flats with this tire. Not a lot of traction with higher inflation on dirt 40 psi. The flats were caused by thorns. Very lightweight though and rolls well.
The is tire is great for my commute, which includes of mix of pavement, gravel bike path and a little bit of trail here and there. The center tread rolls great and the side knobs provide enough bite for cornering on dirt. The weight is on the lighter side for for other comparable 2.25 tires.
These tires work great for the road I do a lot of road biking with my mountain bike and they work out perfectly they hold up OK on the trails but that’s not where you buy them.
Low rolling resistance noticable on the first ride. Lively. Grip is excellent giving confidence in corners. Dry and even in rainy pavement rides. 6 months into it and still straight and true. Extremely happy with these tires!
Bought these for my Kona Sutra LTD gravel bike to have something smooth for bike paths and city riding but that would be a capable gravel and off-road tire. After ~ a year on these I'm super pleased with how they perform across various terrain. they're supple but speedy and have great grip... what else could you want?
