Viva La Body - Lavender Fresh Natural Deodorant (65g)

I am a huge fan of Viva La Body's hair products so was keen to try the deodorant sticks. The positives: the cardboard tube packaging is great, the scent is refreshing without being overpowering and it does a reasonable job combating odour.Unfortunately I can't rate it more than three stars because for whatever reason, the deodorant stick was rock hard and difficult to apply properly. I am not sure if it was just the one I received or something to do with the formula overall, but to apply enough I had to either put it in front of the heater for 10 minutes to soften it enough, or scrape a bit off the top, hold it in my palm for several minutes to soften it then apply. Eventually I pulled it out of the packaging, broke the stick up and melted it down with what was left of a softer natural deodorant and a bit of body oil to turn it into a paste which is easier to use. I would repurchase if they tweaked the formula a bit (I'd received a sample in a F&F box which was form but still easy to apply, so maybe it was a batch issue).

Have been using the Patchouli Rose version of the deo and absolutely adore it but got this as a bonus with my purchase and so have been giving it a go... I love the combo of Lavender and Palmarosa. Sometimes I get wafts of the pure Lavender and other times the citrus from the Palmarosa really lifts it and it smells like fruit loops without being a cloying, artificial scent. Its a natural version and I am living for it!!! Perfect for peeps just transitioning to natural deodorant!!

I phoned the office for advice on what fragance would be best to buy, and left a message.Jo phoned me back and I explained that I was interested in buying chemical free deodorant, but unsure which fragrances were suitable. Due to breast cancer I didn't want to use any chemicals.Jo was great and advised me what might be suitable. I received the 3 deodorants very promptly.I have been using them for 3 weeks now and I'm absolutely delighted with each fragrance.Thanks heaps viva la body for giving me peace of mind. YeahBev

Simply the best natural deodorant there is!I've been using this product for a few years, and whilst I have tried other products inbetween, none compare to Viva La Body's.I started using their products when living in Darwin and was blown away by the range and effectiveness, since leaving Darwin I would much rather pay for postage on the product than use another brands as I know it wont compare! A fantastic product and brand and 100% to all.

I have hyper sensitive skin, and have struggled to find a natural deodorant that works, and most importantly doesn’t cause rashes, sensitivity and pain. Some products seem ok on my skin…only to fail to keep me odour free for an eight hour shift. Others have worked for a few days, or even a week…before skin reactions started and I had to stop using them. I have so many discarded products…from sprays to solid to crystals…bicarbonate free as well…it becomes so expensive and frustrating. Viva La Body solid deodorants are amazing. I have used both the Cinnamon & Patchouli (love…love the smell) and the Lavender Fresh (great for work) for weeks. No skin reactions at al! Great deodorant but vessel could be better

The compostable tube is incredibly hard to push up, particularly in cold weather when the deodorant is super solid. But the deodorant itself is great, best I've found.
