My daughter gave this to me because she heard me complaining about my fine thinning hair. I used it for 3 months and although I was totally skeptical, I found it to work. When I wash my hair I can actually feel that it’s thicker. ~ side note: I decided to use it on my thinning eyebrows (I’m 52 these things happen with age) and imagine my surprise when I saw new growth!!! Definatly does give an appearance of more hair while yours grows back in.

I have naturally curly dark brown hair. When it is think you can REALLY tell. When I first started using the products, I really like this Elixir because it gave me the appearance of thicker hair from the beginning. I will say that if I used too much, it would make things frizzy. It is a fine art with curly hair as it is. It took 2 months and my new hair growth is about 3-4 inches long. It looks REALLY thick close to my scalp and then you see the change as you look closer to my shoulder length. I actually cut it shorter because the difference was so significant. I give ALL of the Viviscal products a 5 STAR for sure. I don't feel like I need the Elixir anymore but I do still use it on occasion because I like the look.

Doesn’t work

I bought this last year and I was debating between this and another hair growth supplement. My dermatologist asked me to try this one. But This did not help AT ALL. I bought the 3 month supply and took it 2 times a day. I was experiencing a lot of hair shedding and at the end of three months there was absolutely no difference. I reached out to them to let them know my experience but they asked I purchase another 3 month supply to see a “true difference”. If it didn’t work at all in 3 months why would it suddenly start working??

From scull cap of hair to shoulder length hair in

Three drops used twice a week for two and half years. I now have shoulder length hair. I also used the shampoo and conditioner. Hair stopped growing aged 61 after I had Cut my hair short. Would not grow. Shocking straw like condition. Wore wigs. Then tried this product. My new biological hair at 66 is now dried out frizzy but it is wonderful to have long hair again. I would not have believed this was possible. Dyed red it does look lovely tied up at the back. I can make a hair bun too. I have not been paid by the hair company to give this review. Because I barely had any hair at the beginning the products lasted 18 months. So overall it was not an expensive experiment. And it worked! Good Products

Purchased Viviscal’s Densifying Elixer, Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Growth Supplement about three months ago. My normally healthy hair had been falling out and thinning (probably due to stress and getting older). These products have made my hair feel and look significantly thicker and healthier. Hair loss is now minimal and hair appears to be growing back in areas where it had thinned. It takes time and consistency, but I’m very happy with the results.

Hair instantly felt more thicker!

Lots of volume and body

I had already been using the Viviscal supplements for a couple years. I received some samples of Viviscal shampoo, conditioner and the elixir with my supplement order. I really liked how the shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel and this elixir really gave me a lot of volume and body! I don’t have to use it every time I wash my hair and a small amount per application is all that’s needed. This little bottle will last a long time.With the use of the Viviscal supplement and Viviscal hair care products, my hair is really thickening up!

Nice adjunct

The only issue I have with this product is the same I have for the shampoo and conditioner: all 3 smell strongly of a perfume that seems like it should be a man's aftershave. It's a little hard to judge at barely the 3-month mark, but I think all 3 are working together to help my hair come back in with more volume. What I'm using the elixir on is mainly the hair that remained after the rest fell out following a surgery, so it's a little hard to tell how much effect it's having. Also, my hair is baby fine and seeing the individual strands get thicker would probably take a caliper that measured down to the millimicron! But giving it the benefit of the doubt and a longer trial period.

One big Gripe!!

I was a little upset because when I opened the box. The box inside was squished and the bottle cap waspart was partly unscrewed so liquid was leaking out. The liquid inside the bottle was down about 1/8 of an inch. I don't know how this happened but it did definitely made me mad. People don't seem to care anymore about doing a good job at their JOB. No pride for doing a good job anymore. Please people let's take pride and care in doing a GOOD JOB Thank you for letting me gripe.
