I used it for two years and stopped and went back to Viviscal Hair Growth Supplements for Women - 180 count because I stopped seeing results but then I came back to Nutrafol when I stopped seeing results with Viviscal but I am now back using Viviscal because it is easier on my pocketbook right now. Check the contents thoroughly!!

This is not a review about the product because my husband has used it for years. This is a review about the condition of the contents. The top corners of the foil packets look as though they were "chewed" by something! The outer packaging was intact, as was the mailing envelope, and the blister packs were not disturbed. But to see something that looks like "chew marks" is very disconcerting, and I question whether or not we should even use the contents? A comment to Walmart went unanswered. Very disappointed.

Good quality but bad aftertaste

This product came exactly as described. The expiration date was far in the future, and it seems to be helping my hair. This is the 2nd month I've ordered the product and I feel like I'm seeing a decrease in the amount of hair falling out during shampoos. I'm using the Viviscal shampoo, conditioner, and serum as recommended. However, I cannot tell if the product is actually making my hair stronger or thicker. I haven't noticed any big improvements yet. The price and quality on eBay are the best you can find anywhere. But it is fairly expensive compared to other vitamin supplements. The downside of this supplement is the fishy aftertaste. Sometimes I'll take them with juice or vitamin water instead of plain water so I can mask the taste of the pills.

It worked for me!

I used this product after losing hair from covid in January of 2022. It seemed to replace what I lost. I am 67 years old and have very long hair. Yes I'm an old hippie! I stopped using it and noticed some thinning of my hairline. Started using it again and have been for the past several months. No noticeable side effects and I get blood work done every 3 months. Like all hair products they don't always work for everybody equally. I will continue to use it as long as Walmart keeps it affordable. I also use biotin and generic Rogaine equate brand. But notice the difference when I stopped and started this product.

Jury still out.

I have been using this product for 6 months now and there is a difference in the condition and texture of my hair but I am not convinced it is entirely the Viviscal as I have been using Saw Palmetto tablets and also B2 vitamins. In addition I purchased the product for hair growth not as an over priced conditioner so the jury is still out on this one. I will give it until the 2 months supply I have ends.A word of caution I went into Holland and Barrett to purchase the Man hair growth tablets and the quantity I could afford was only available with the Woman hair growth tablets. This turned out to be a huge mistake as I had an allergic reaction to the iron and had the most horrendous bloating and flatulence.To be fair Holland and Barrett did exchange the product without any trouble whatsoever despite it being my decision to purchase the Woman Hair growth tablets.

Because of the length of the program, and the price involved, this basically forced someone of my income level to go hunting down discount deals online. I found several and that's the only reason I've been able to continue the program; had this only been available in retail stores, the price would definitely have kept me from continuing the program. As fair as hair REGROWTH??? Well, just like several products I've tried before this one, I'm still waiting to see a single strand of that!

They do work (I’m female by the way!)

I did some Googling to find reviews and found that some women were taking the men’s ones, I’m assuming because baldness is more common in men so they might be stronger and they are the same price so I thought I would give them a try too. I take them along with Hairburst. After around 6 months I noticed a significant difference, at first I thought my hair was snapping then I realised it was new growth coming through. The only problem I have is because I was so desperate I took Viviscal and Hairburst and I don’t know if it is one or the other that is working or a combination of the two. I now daren't stop taking either as my GP said that once you stop taking them the effects will stop and my hair will fall out again. The Hairburst has biotin in it which is the active ingredient used to help regrow hair, you can get a biotin supplement but be careful not to take too much as it can have the opposite effect. There is no biotin in the men’s Viviscal but I think it is in the women’s. The other thing I do is I use an old ESPA body brush and use it to stimulate my scalp a couple of times a week just before I wash my hair, this also really helps with the dry scalp caused by the menopause too. I hope this is helpful to someone as it’s so hard to find useful believable information. You have to persevere as the results wont happen overnight it will be six months before you start to see a difference x

Very disappointed! Will never buy from again!

Ordered a 180ct package. Received 3 very smashed 60ct packages. The shipping bag the 3 60ct boxes were in was barely large enough to fix the three boxes in without squishing them some plus...the bag which that bag was stuck in arrived beaten up and covered in black marks. It looked like it might have been run over by a forklift or pallet jack. This was a over the counter supplement. Afraid to take use now. Very disappointed and I would never buy from this sellar again. Wasted my money.

Waste of money and time

I used them over a year only difference I’ve seen was my hair became bit more softer it didn’t stop the hair loss at all maybe reduce it bit.that’s it what worse your hair will get weaker than before once you stop taking them. It really doesn’t matter if it works for you or not. If you planing to stop taking them.dont stop taking them straight away.

Works for 2 months?

I don't think this works 2 months or another months. Because i been used this product for 6 months. But not satisfied for the result for now. But i will try again for another month, this time, if this won't work, i stop to recommend here. Of course, is to expensive!
