Vixen A80Mf Refractor Telescope

I’ve been in search of an 80mm high magnification scope with high F-ratio and this is the one I’m keeping. Optics, tube and build quality is great. Focuser was changed to accommodate 2” eyepieces and imaging equipment. All the upgrade one would need. I use this primarily for solar imaging and now looking forward to planets.

The t- scope is good, but no 2 pcs. Allen wrench in the box which include in the list of stuff I'm supposed to receive.

The old saying, that "the best telescope is theone you use the most" applies here. I have a fewscopes, one a high end refractor on a monster EQmount, but the A80mf is my scope of choice on any given night. Its long focal length insures good color correction, the light weight but very sturdy construction means easy carrying and steady viewing, and the excellent optics deliver superb sharp images. This is a great scope for moon, planets, double stars, and the brighter deep space objects. The red dot finder is easy to use and adjust for accurate object location, and the slow motion controls on the alt-az Porta Mount are smooth. An excellent, affordable package for the astro beginner to intermediate observer. It will serve you well for many years. .
