Vox Mini Go 3 Green

Great little modelling amp for practice and home use. Enough flexibility to extract a range of sounds.

I'm totally happy with this amp.

I've had this amp for 3 months now. At first i wasn't impressed but then it really grew om me. I live in an apartment, so volume is an issue. You can play quiet or loud. Neighbors recently moved so I got to really work the amp and that's when it really changed my mind. I love the drum\rhythm effect to play along and keep time. IF you just want to plug and play. This amps for you. If you're an app\phone person, it's not for you. I like the simplicity. I haven't used the internal battery. It comes with a power cord. I accidently plugged into mike input instead of guitar and wow. It gives you a whole other range of sound adjusting the trim knob. Also, you have to hold power button down 5 seconds to turn on. Don't be like me. I thought something was wrong with it at ... MoreI've had this amp for 3 months now. At first i wasn't impressed but then it really grew om me. Review of Vox Mini Go Series 3 Watt Combo Amp

Handy for practice and, travel modelling could sound better.

Vox Mini Go 50.

Had the Mini Go 50 for a few weeks now but have only really used it properly once. Not because I haven't wanted to, I've just been busy doing other things. I switched it on when I received it and made sure it was working... but then left it alone for a good couple of weeks. Finally got to try it and I'm pretty pleased with the results. To be honest, I've got a lot of gear (combo amps, analogue pedals, a HeadRush pedalboard, a Yamaha THR10C etc, so the Mini Go is just for fun. I got it for the Vocoder and looper functions ad much as anything...and it doesn't disappoint! The combination of rhythms, looper, Vocoder and some fairly decent amp models is enough to keep someone entertained for ages...and it makes a great buskers amp, as it runs off a mobile phone battery, ... MoreHad the Mini Go 50 for a few weeks now but have only really used it properly once. The combination of rhythms, looper, Vocoder and some fairly decent amp models is enough to keep someone entertained for ages...and it makes a great buskers amp, as it runs off a mobile phone battery, as well as mains. The 8 inch speaker struggles to cope with the full 50 watts but there are 5 watt and 0.5 watt options, too.All in all I think the Mini Go 50 is a decent amp; very well built, good sounds and most of all, a lot of fun! I think you could probably get away with the Mini Go 10 version in most situations, which has pretty much all the options of the 50 at a lower price.N.B. I think the Vox FS3 footswitch (which sadly is an optional extra) is an absolute necessity! You can't really start/stop the looper and rhythms manually and be able to accurately start playing at the right time.
