Unfortunately this is not the hairdryer for me. Too powerful, too hot and I can’t turn it down to a slower speed to suit my needs. My hair dried out and was totally unmanageable. Have never had this problem previously. My previous 2 dryers were V S but this one I think I’ll have to return. I have fine hair and it definitely doesn’t suit.

Extremely Disappointede

I bought this hairdryer last week when my other (older) VS Sassoon dryer died. I went for the more powerful dryer as I thought it would do a good job a bit more quickly. I have found the switches to be in the opposite place to my other dryers, the "cool shot" is not only a cool shot but also a hot shot, the on and off switches are sliders rather than switchers, and this must be the noisiest dryer I have ever had. I have found that I am continually hitting the wrong end of the "shot" button and getting hot instead of cold, and with arthritic fingers, I am find the whole bit of having to turn around the dryer in order to turn on or off a bit challenging. Flaking Paint

Bought this hairdryer about three months ago from Big W. On the handle part of the dryer, black paint is flaking off, coming on to my hands and all over the bathroom vanity and floor. Haven't kept my receipt, so my fault, I won't be able to take it back to the store. And while it doesn't affect the performance of the appliance, it is annoying because the paint sticks to surfaces and doesn't simply come off with one wipe of the surface. Not using any product for my hair, so there's nothing on my hands that might cause the paint to come off, other than water, and perhaps moisturiser that I would have applied on my hands. Disappointing.

Good quality, easy to use

Awesome hair dryer for a decent price. Powerful blow wave and easy to use settings, only thing I wish is there were more than 2 settings for the strength of air as there is just a high and low setting, medium between the two would have been spot on for my hair type. Diffuser works well but rather small circumference and which means the thicker or fuller your head of hair the longer it will take to dry as it doesn’t cover a huge area. Definitely recommend sectioning your hair for this part. Haven’t used the straight blow wave accessory or hair brush but I’m sure it will be great. Nothing bad to say about this product, it does the job and does it well, easy and simple to use and lightweight.

Great Quality for Value

Really decent product at an affordable price. Great for versatile use, leaves a nice finish if your after sleek straight blow wave and round brush comes in handy with this style. The diffuser works well on curly hair and temperature settings are easy to use to lock in curls and dry off the excess water and plump up the volume, though the diffuser extension isn’t that big so have to dry hair in smaller sections.

Great value

Picked it up on sale after my last hair dryer died, and it's been a definite improvement. The regular temperature it operates at is warm, but not uncomfortably hot like my last one, with several different settings for how strong the fan runs on the back. To turn up the heat for styling, the button on the front has to be held down. This was annoying at first, compared to sliding a switch up or pressing a button once, but it also helps me avoid accidentally overheating the hair dryer, which should help it last a lot longer too. The brush that comes with it isn't great, but the switchable front attachment is handy for different hairstyles. TLDR: Great value, good temperature and features!

I had bought this in December, I needed a new hair dryer and seen all these great reviews… This is not a great functioning hair dryer, IMO. Cons: - no cooling button. The “fix”/“cool” button is a low temp heat not a blast of cold air. - The “button” for Turbo and “Cold” is a switch that you need to hold down in order for it to be used. - the higher the heat, the less blowing strength unless you hold the turbo switch down which is extremely awkward. - there is not a lot of difference in the 3 heat settings, unless you hold the turbo switch down. - the blow dry hair brush that comes with it is something you could purchase from the dollar shop, poor quality and poorly made. - The nozzles are extremely small for people who have thicker hair - Would be more useful to ... MoreI had bought this in December, I needed a new hair dryer and seen all these great reviews… This is not a great functioning hair dryer, IMO. Meh! Not great.

Bought this from Target yesterday. Very unimpressed with the power and speed. My old cheapie Remington did a better job, but unfortunately it stopped working after 10years of daily use. Don't love the VS Expert Turbo 2400, name is quite deceptive - wouldn't recommend.

Superb product

Great hairdryer, had many more expensive hair dryers in recent years but this one is just as good and dries my daughters very thick hair super fast. No frizz, really happy with our purchase. I especially like how much lighter it is compared to others. Finally my daughter can hold it and use it without trouble

good product

I love the product; it has everything that I was looking for, anti-frizz systems works well and I like the shape of the difuser is really handy. The only thing is the potency I didn't check it before and it doesn't have too much strength the air flow and for me that I have too much hair take a while drying out.
