Love this thing, and would be five stars except for one nitpick...the pump tries to (and sometimes does) lock with every stroke when using one hand because of the way my fingers curl spins it into the lock. Otherwise it is very easy to use and since I have a bunch of Caffitaly capsules left over from a machine that died, this will serve me well and I can get great espresso anywhere there is hot water! Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to carry, what's not to love?

This is an unreal coffee maker, but the instructions are terrible and there aren't good instructions on the web. I basically had to experiment and figure it out myself as to how much coffee, and water, to fill the container. In a nutshell the machine holds less water than the container so if you want to fill the container you need to add more water to the machine, but then how much coffee do you add?? Mysteries! Awesome product but.

Good for what it is - travel size coffee maker. Way better than instant hotel room coffee! Must pre heat by running through with hot water first otherwise coffee comes out cold. Nice using pods - much more convenient - would be great if had the option to interchange between pods and ground coffee using same machine. All in all makes great espresso shot. I recommend getting the travel case for extra protection but not absolutely necessary

Bought this for holidays. Worked ok, not wonderfully well (it's fiddly, often has grinds in the coffee and when you pack it away it leaks), for a couple of days now all I get is water and coffee grinds. An O ring fell out but I'm not sure where it belongs. I feel I've wasted $50
The minipresso is the latest entry into the portable espresso market. The huge advantage here is the price point as others are 2, 3, 5 or 10 times the price.I opted for the CA model to travel easier with the capsules. In fact, this past week I ordered some hot water on early American Airlines flight and made a couple beautiful espresso shots right there on the plane. Passengers from all over were coming by to see how I could do this. I probably could have sold every capsule I had on that flight. The design is very simple and I especially like how the coffee flows based on the continual pumping. No trying to count the number of pumps or trying to get the pressure in a green zone.Doesn't replace my home machine but delivers on every occasion when I am not there.
I had to google how to operate this thing. Better instructions should be included. It made an excellent shot of coffee!! And that’s the most important thing to me.
Bought it for my coming holiday in Bali where our villa doesnt have good coffee facility. In advance I bought a couple of different capsules from Tchibo so I could test them when the minipresso arrived. I had 4 different capsules: 2 espresso flavors and 2 coffee crema flavors and they all are great of taste when used in the minipresso, its unbelievable! With good crema on top. Really happy, now I can have a good espresso or cappucino when on travel. I am getting quicker everyday in handling the minipresso so now it is really a piece of cake in less time to get a cup. Before pouring in the shot I will always first warm the glass so I will get a good warm cup. And btw the cups from Tchibo are only 20 cent a piece when ordering a 96 piece box from Amazon. One question ... MoreBought it for my coming holiday in Bali where our villa doesnt have good coffee facility. One question though for Wacaco; when I finish my shots I always pour in only hot water without a cup and do the process of making a espresso but only with water to clean the inside. Is that okay to do? Or will that harm the minipresso
Received this from my very thoughtful 10 year old daughter as an early Christmas gift as we were getting ready to travel. Apparently she has noticed that my wife and I are not fans of hotel coffee. Unfortunately it just didn’t function. Customer service helped identify the problem as an internal issue with the pump mechanism. We are getting a refund from the Amazon seller, but my daughter was so excited as she’d spent a good amount of allowance savings on this and it was nonfunctional. I’ve reordered direct from the manufacturer but everyone is out of stock. A little disappointment, but decent customer service. If only the machine had actually made a cup of espresso.
It is one of the genius inventionIt’s became so important to my dayI take it everywhere with meReally highly recommended
Purchased this as a xmas gift for the dad who has everything. Figured i'd give it a test first just to make sure it worked as described. Read instructions & watched a video thinking i had done something wrong. So far, i've ruined 5 Caffitaly capsules & make a huge mess. I place the capsule in the container, screw it down, pump 8 times to fill the capsule, keep pumping & every time it seems to get stuck & then start spitting out grounds & a small amount of luke warm water (filled with boiling water initially). Great reviews out there but with the hassle of having to pay to ship back a clearly defective unit, i'll probably just toss this thing in the garbage & try something else. Seemed like a great idea, but the end result clearly isn't working for me...bummer. I ... MorePurchased this as a xmas gift for the dad who has everything.
