Wacom Intuos Pro Small - Creative Pen Tablet

I use a Large Wacom Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet for digitizing illustrations and Photo editing, and find it to be an indispensable tool. It's smooth, accurate, and reasonably comfortable to use.Recent world events have forced me (like many) to work from home and use video teleconferencing as a primary means of corporate communication. While annotating a virtual white board I quickly realized how useful it was to be able to draw with the stylus, as opposed to using the mouse and keyboard. It takes a little practice to write legibly, but once you get the hang of it people who think that you are using a mouse will be astounded! The small size also allows you to slip it into a laptop bag and carry it with you to presentations.Although it wont replace its Big Brother, there are times that I do prefer it to the Large Tablet. Especially while performing touch-ups in photo editing software.

Getting it to work on MacOS Catalina was an absolute pain. (Solve: Install ColorSnapper 2, which properly asks for Input Monitoring permissions. Then only can you add com.wacom.IOManager.app to the Input Monitoring list.)I do experience lag here and there but nothing major.I upgraded to this from a tiny 4x6 Wacom tablet that I got 10 years ago and I actually miss that small footprint. (i.e. I'm glad I didn't go for the medium size... there'd be no point!) So if you rely on very specific gestures, this won't be a replacement. But you can do things like pinch to zoom, two-finger scrolls, 4-finger swipe to view all open windows, etc.

Got this to use with multiple programs. Sadly the program I use mostly is not compatible with this tablet, and while it isn't their fault, it did weigh heavily into my returning of this. The only other issue I noticed since I didn't get a lot of time using it before I returned it was the pad itself seemed a bit too oversensitive. I tend to draw or write with the side of my hand on the paper/desk, not floating in the air. This was way too sensitive in how it responded to even my hand or anything touching it, which made it very difficult to actually use without constantly undoing mistakes. Hopefully in the future this will be fixed as well as the compatibility issues.
