Product Quality:PristinePerformance:SpectacularBest Feature:Smooth SurfaceThe product's packaging from delivery wrapping and product container is perfect. Completely and totally undamaged on arrival and comes with a security seal. The unboxing experience was satisfying, very neat box. The delivery was lightning fast, it arrived the 1st day of expected time of arrival. The delivery man was also pleasant.Installing was extremely easy, the driver is prim and proper, the drawing surface is nice and scratchless less than most other tablets, the pen is too lightweight for my liking and comes with only 3 replacement nibs but it'll pass. No software malfunctioning yet, we'll have to wait on that. Overall, amazing product, worth the price and guaranteed quality.

About 3 to 4 years ago I discovered this game called Osu!, I first started out playing with just a mouse before I started watching some of the top players and realized they werenât using a mouse. They were instead using a drawing tablet to aim and it increased the skill cap way higher than what I had already imagined. So I decided to try out a cheap drawing tablet to see if it was worth it and after a while decided I needed a better one. The wacom ctl-472 is originally used for drawing or even just a replacement for a mouse that's more free and precise. However I use it for Osu! and I do have to say it is very good.First, the quality is very good for the price. I got it when it was on sale for about $60, it is usually listed for $100. It is mainly made of plastic, however it is very sturdy. Itâs also mainly black with some red touches around it, the look overall is very sleek. The surface is also pretty big considering the decently compact size. It has very good and precise responsiveness when playing and is very smooth too. Very simple to use and set up the drivers for it too. While I also donât use factory drivers I recommend the Hawku OpenTabletDriver, as it is very simple and customizable along with a very low response time.Next, the pen is a bit small for my hand. I have been able to make it work by wrapping it with some grip tape to beef it up. Also the pen nibs are a bit annoying, more so since Iâm using it constantly for extended periods of time. Which leads into the next point being the texture of the surface of the tablet being pretty rough so that contributes to the pen nib wearing down so fast. Iâd recommend getting a tablet cover if you donât want to have to speed through the nibs. Lastly, the cable it comes with is a micro usb that is 1 meter long but for me it wasnât long enough so I had to get a longer cable but otherwise it didnât affect anything.Overall, the tablet is a 4/5 for me. Even with the extra youâll probably end up spending for the pen and a tablet cover, I believe it is still very worth it for either drawing, a secondary mouse, or playing Osu! like me. Along with something like the ctl-480 that tends to outshine this tablet it is no longer produced so itâs a bit difficult to get your hands on it which makes this the next best thing in my opinion.

I recently tried out the Wacom One touchpad. I have been playing around with Fusion 360 CAD software and have other CAD and drawing software. I have always wondered how effective a touchpad would be for me and whether it would be useful. Setup was very easy. Just plug in the tablet, download the driver, reboot and you are in business. The pen comes with different nibs which you change out by pulling them with a small 'tweezer' like tool. I did not have a chance to experiment with the different nibs since just getting the feel of using the tablet was a challenge. I had never realized that the pad actually "senses" the pen as you hold it above the tablet and will move the cursor based on the position. I had never realized that the pad actually "senses" the pen as you hold it above the tablet and will move the cursor based on the position. Having been a long time trackball person, I have to say it was more difficult to use than what I expected. There is a button on the pen that replicates 'right clicking' and I had difficulty getting the hang of hitting the button, since the pen can rotate in your hand. I imagine that I would get the hang of it before long, but at first it was harder to get used to than I expected. I refuse to give a bad review just because I was inept at first in using it. I actually think that it would grow on me with time. The tablet has a little cloth holder on the side for the pen which is definitely handy. I will give another review after I have had a chance to learn how to use it better.
This is a good tablet for doing lite stuff on the go like sketching or notes. Its size makes it easy to put in with a tablet or laptop etc.If you're semi-serious about art, photo touch-up, blender... I would go with a medium and a newer version which has a few mappable buttons, BT and some other features not with this version. No tilt, no eraser, no buttons, no touch and lower pressure levels.I ended up giving this to my daughter for use with her laptop and college courses. Not a bad tablet just not a lot of features, this is silly simple.
In the world of digitizers, Wacom is a well-established and respected brand and has many digitizer models ranging from low cost (around fifty bucks) to multi-thousand dollar high-end, very-high resolution digitizers. Digitizers tend to fall into two categories: live screens, and blind tablets. On the live screen, you draw directly on the screen that shows the image you are creating. On the blind tablet, the image you are creating shows on your computer screen, but your hand creating the image rests on the digitizing tablet, which generally requires you to be looking at the computer screen while drawing with a hand you canât see â which makes the blind tablet somewhat harder to adapt to. On the blind tablet, the image you are creating shows on your computer screen, but your hand creating the image rests on the digitizing tablet, which generally requires you to be looking at the computer screen while drawing with a hand you canât see â which makes the blind tablet somewhat harder to adapt to. This One By Wacom model (CTL-472) is the low-end model, blind tablet, primarily aimed at beginners, students, and those dabbling in digitizing their efforts in art, graphics, or ads that donât need (or canât afford) exceptionally high accuracy. The One By Wacom also comes with a pen and spare nibs. Besides the digitizer tablet and pen itself, one also needs a driver and a software program that accepts and manipulates data from the digitizer. Wacom provides a free driver, which you will have to download from the internet, and it also provides you a choice of five or six software programs to process and manipulate data from the digitizer, but these software programs are trial versions that are only free for 90 days of trial, and afterwards you would have to purchase whichever one you chose if you decided to keep using it. However, schools and educational institutions often sponsor certain products, such as Chrome tablets, that also use the Wacom digitizers, and provide software (though the school) that are free to the student. The other issue for many digitizer users is portability. The One By Wacom is very portable, while many (if not most) higher end digitizer models (especially live screens) are not so portable. Analyze you real needs and purchase accordingly.
Unfortunately this drawing tablet didn't turn out to be what my son was hoping for. First off, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, including the fact that the website provided on the insert no longer works. I had to search the company website myself and then navigate to the needed pages to download the driver. However, we found out quickly that we could not download the necessary drivers on our newer laptop as it is equipped with "S mode" and does not allowed downloads from third parties, and there was nothing I found that would work with the tablet in the app store. We then decided to try to hook it up to our older laptop and eventually got the driver to download. It then took several attempts to register the device using the Wacom program and their website. Once the device was registered and we created an account, we were expecting access to a library of compatible programs so that my son could use the tablet for drawing as it was advertised, but that was not the case. We were given 5 "offers" and they were all for teachers. Nothing was available for drawing or even just writing from what we could tell. We selected one of the available programs to see if there would be a way to draw or use it somehow, but the code provided by Wacom for the 3 month trial did not work. Now we feel like we just have this drawing tablet and cannot use it. I will try to figure something out as I'm hoping another program could work with it, but would not recommend this product after the very difficult time we've had with it so far.
I want to be fair in saying how disappointed I am in this Drawing Tablet. I got it for my son who loves drawing, and we are absolutely overflowing with pages of his drawings. So go digital, right?First "tablet" to me in the 21st century denotes a device with a screen - not what this is. This "tablet" require the user to look up at a screen while writing or drawing - quite a skill to acquire! I use a stylus on my MS Surface to take notes or doodle and it's very intuitive - almost like pen on paper. But this business of marking on a surface and seeing the product on a different surface was pretty tough for me - and not something my 10 year old could do at all. Moreover, it was hard to move from one place to another. I tried writing very slowly on the tablet and ... MoreI want to be fair in saying how disappointed I am in this Drawing Tablet. I tried in vain to get the One tablet to install on my son's Chrome device. Downloaded drivers and restarted (as the instructions said to do) several times unsuccessfully. Then I plugged it into my Windows Surface and was drawing in seconds. I read in a review that this product was hard to connect to Chrome and boy were they right! On the positive side, it has a holder for the pen right on the tablet so you won't be too likely to lose it.One connects to the computer with a standard, mini USB so you won't have to worry about losing that specific cord.I'm very disappointed that this won't work for us. If you are a graphic designer who is accustomed to this disconnected drawing, it might be a fine tool for you - if you are using a Windows or Mac computer.
I really like this One by Wacom drawing tablet. I'm using the small which is 8 inch by 6. It works with IOS, Windows, and works great on my Chromebook which is what I'm using it on. The tablet is a orange reddish color on the bottom with 4 rubber feet on each corner to help keep it in place on a flat solid surface. The top part is a black matt finish design where you will use the included magic pen. The top has small faint dots across the surface in a grid fashion. This is to help keep things uniform. If you use a Windows computer or a Mac book you need to install driver's from the Wacom website. The Chromebook is plug and play with Google apps like Canvas, Jam and Sketchbook. Using Sketchbook you can use the pen with pressure sensitivity, by holding different angles and pressure to get different results. The included pen is very lightweight and does not use batteries. It has extra pen tips included with the tablet. I will say drawing on the tablet takes practice as it is different than drawing on the screen. I will be in practice mode for a while. The tablet comes boxed very nicely with a orange sleeve and inside there's a micro USB cord about 2 ft long, a magic pen, and a 2 page start guide that makes setup a breeze. This would make a great gift. It would be great for anyone with the ability to draw.
