I have a corgi she wasn't interested in this at all to begin with but then learned that she had to chew it hard to get the marrow out of the bone. It kept her occupied and she got very obsessed with it a few days later. Whenever she's bored she grabs it and starts chewing and chewing, hard. After about two weeks half of the antler was gone but we noticed one of her molars had fractured from the excessive chewing of this product. We had to take her to the vet and got her tooth pulled out because she was having tooth pain. Please be very careful with this if your dog starts to chew on it hard - small doses at a time!!!!

We switched to deer antlers for our staffy and kelpie's teeth after having a bad experience with cow hooves (one punctured our staffy's intestines). I am pleased to say that the deer antlers last for ages and do not some seem to have shards snap off the same way that cow hooves do. Both our pups love them and our vet has commented on how healthy their teeth are. After they have gnawed out the marrow, I spread peanut butter on the antler which keeps the pups' interest high. They are a little pricey, but I feel good knowing that they are sustainably sourced.

This is the second time I’ve bought large split antlers and it’ll be the last. Both times I’ve received long thin, skinny antlers that my furkids won’t touch.Ended up buying some from the actual pet shop.I’d send them back but I gave them away instead. It’s not the antlers it’s whoever packs, or whatever the packers are trained to do online. Why is it that you don’t give us the option as to which part of the antlers we’d like? Why is it that my last two orders were both from the tip end of the antlers? I want the middle sections not the thin tips.I bought my kids 2 from Petstock for the same price and I picked the ones I wanted.Really not worth it.

We used to give our dogs rawhide items and they loved them. However, at a certain point the dogs would try to swallow the rawhide items whole resulting in the dogs choking and then the need for us to extract the rawhide from their throat/mouth. We decided to try the antlers after hearing from friends how much their dogs loved them. I'm happy to say our friends were right. Our dogs LOVE the antlers. The can chew on these things for weeks where as the rawhide lasted a couple of hours at best and then there was the choking thing that followed. We do take the antlers away from the dogs when we think they have chewed the antler down to a swallowable size, but as I said that takes weeks. We even prefer the antlers over nylabone items.
My beagle puppy loves this! Keeps her entertained especially at witching hour, tires her out completely. We decided to go with the split antler because we thought it wouldn't be as hard on her teeth and we always make sure she's in view when chewing it.I was really impressed by the size, was a lot bigger than I expected which is perfect. It will keep for when she's a bit bigger (if she doesn't chew it up by then!).
My girl loves bones but she chews them too fast and even when I monitor the time she chews, she gets very sick. This WAG bone is great, she can chew it for ages without being able to break it and eat it, therefore she isn't sick. This is my second one (because she buried the first one) and I will definitely buy this brand again.
Our German Shepherd loves these, she loves the marrow, long lasting chew that doesn't smell bad so she can have it indoors! She does lose interest in the antler once the marrow has gone, whereas she has a full antler which she has had for months and hasn't lost interest in it. Still a great treat and long lasting
Maui absolutely loves his Split Deer Antler - definitely his favourite item out of the whole order. Really great to keep him busy and away from other munchable items (my furniture) and I like that I'm not just filling him up full of food as a distraction. Maui's teeth are always looking clean, and he loves gnawing away at the antler, spends hours on end and its very long-lasting. Will definitely be buying again!
I can't fault the product. Our two GSPs loved the antlers from the word Go. After two weeks, the antlers are still going strong, although a little battered in places. And the best thing? No smell or mess like a bone.
Our boy loves chewing, and we have tried all kind of treats, looking of course for the best healthy, quality and durable chewing treat. Deer antlers are hard, non smelly and they leave no mess, just a puddle of slobber made by our doggo!
