Wag Kangaroo Bone Teeth Cleanser Dog Treat

My Chihuahua is obsessed with these bones. Initially they are a bit messy as she chews off the outer layer of dehydrated meat (it tends to flake everywhere and is a little bit smelly -- though less so than other brands we've tried), however once she cleans that off she keeps at it for weeks and weeks with no mess and only some smell on her breath afterward. I just make sure she eats the outer layer on her blanket or a towel so I can shake it off outside, after that she's fine to chew it wherever and absolutely LOVES it. I highly recommend this bone; especially suited for smaller dogs. She's not a huge chewer and never really destroys toys, so finding something she actually wants to work her teeth into can be a challenge. Luckily she has no problem with this!

These Kangaroo teething bones are amazing!We buy the pack of 10, as it is very cost effective and out little frenchie loves them, so we always need to keep them in stock!1 teething bone lasts a long time. It keeps him occupied and also keeps his teeth nice and white. We have been buying these since he was a puppy and he has never chewed any of our belongings in the house!

Best teeth chew

I have tried a lot of different options to keep my dog's gums healthy and although I haven't compared the look of her teeth, I can easily see the difference in the way she works these bad boys. With other options she will either bury them and never get them out to eat (wet bones, big bones, artificial chews etc) or she will throw it back in a matter of seconds (dental sticks etc). She wanted this one real bad, and she had to work hard for it!

Great healthy chew!

Definitely one of our favourites! B loves it too. However, wish there were a bit more meat on some and a bit of consistency with regards to size. We have had some really small ones packed together! However, we love kangaroo as we think it's the perfect, low fat chew treat for dogs with a sensitive tummy.

It's a favourite with our 3 dogs!

Our 3 dogs (chihuahua, cavoodle and mini schanuzer) all love these bones! It entertains them for hours. I also love that they're not gross and stinky like raw bones. Not sure how much they do for their teeth as I just give these as a once a month treat so probably not often enough to really see a difference.

Firstly, My Cavoodle took 15 minutes to break into her WAG Box!... and was it worth it? Oh Yes 🐾She carried the Kangaroo Bone about whining looking for a spot inside to bury her treasure 😂Once she settled, she worked on chewing her heart out... absolutely loved it. One bone gave her 3 days and multiple hours of calmness on her bed chewing it down till I felt it was to small for her...These Kangaroo Chews are worth every $$ .... Sophie’s teeth are beautiful and her breath has always been clean and fresh...She has always had WAGS Chews, namely the Deer Antlers, they are amazing too for her....Thank you Wags for my healthy happy Pup.

Mini Schnauzer's Favourite

Our 6 month old Mini Schnauzer loves this and regards it as a high value treat. She'd spend hours getting the outer layer / flakes off, and even after the bone's been picked clean, it's still her favourite go-to chew. The small size is perfect for her as she likes holding the bone between her paws while chewing.

Very disappointed

I was very disappointed with this product. It looked nothing like this image. I bought the two pack and one was the size of a chicken wing and had barely any meat on it. The other was only slightly bigger and had a small amount of meat. For almost $10, definitely not worth it. I will not buy again.

Very disappointed with the small sizes

I previously ordered this product direct from WAG and was really happy with the quality and the longevity of them. The original order had a mixture of sizes...but a reasonable number were quite large (over 12cm). My most recent order consisted of ALL small bones (none above 10cm in length). I was incredibly disappointed by this. I emailed them and their response was that they are “all naturalâ€_x009d_ and the sizes of each kangaroo are unique. I understand this but I also suggested that if this is the case why don’t they separate the packs into small, medium and large and charge accordingly. It seems inappropriate to charge the same for a product that has such a large variation from 8cm-18cm and 50-150g!I’m quite disappointed as my Staffy really loves these ... MoreI previously ordered this product direct from WAG and was really happy with the quality and the longevity of them. Wasn’t prepared for how much my puppy would love this bone!

I wondered if $5 for a single, small-med bone would be worth it, but our border collie puppy was SO pleased with this bone. It was the first thing to keep her occupied by herself. Even a couple of weeks later, with the meaty bits and even the end of the bone chewed off, she will still march around with it, with her tail in the air and a big smile on her face. I’m buying another one to have ready for her when the current one is done with :)
