This is an upgrade to the basic model I bought about 3 years ago when I just started out spray painting. Total convert now and so I thought I'd invest in a better model. This is just perfect. So easy to use. Precise painting with little overspray and so easy to clean afterwards.

Second faulty machine in the space of a few months!Reliability is beyond minus zero!An absolutely nightmare of a product.First time round this product had smoke coming out of the motor. As difficult it is to think that at this price I can call this sprayer cheap it is sadly the truth. At first I was very happy with the tool but then I was novice and very soon shortcomings started to come to light. There is simply not enough power to atomise best paints that do the job properly. Water it down ENOUGH and the paint is no longer doing the job. Use recommended paints and they are of poor quality. Then the pump didn't last long. It did 2 houses worth and then the paint started leaking from inside the housing. Thought I would have a look and found that the construction inside is really flimsy plastic throughout. Broken parts are not available to buy and replace. As a self employed professional decorator I wanted something to take the effort out of painting large covings and MDF units! This does the job perfectly, it saves me a lot of time and money on labouring. The results are more than worth it, I found it very straight forward, like anything. The finish is excellent but I would recommend using 4 inch lay off brush (my preference) or dry rolling straight away to avoid any extra sanding work, it. Preparing the job takes time, allow time to prepare the area and protecting, clean the machine properly straight away after you use, it takes about 15min to clean. I have use it about 10 times so far and no problem with it.So far I'm very happy with it and I won't stay a min without one of these. Thanks
The Wagner 350M is a great piece of kit. I used this to spray 2 coats of roof tile paint (from Britannia paints, excellent product too) covering about 200sq metres of roof.The paint was quite thick but the Wagner 350M sprays it beautifully undiluted, which is a credit to the machine, which is also fairly quiet as it only runs when you are spraying. You can use it to spray many other paints, but you need different nozzles and filters for different viscosity paints (you get 2 in the kit, 1 for thin and 1 for thick paint).Cleaning is very important after use and is a bit messy. You need to prepare well before you start spraying e.g. stir paint well, ensure clean surfaces and well masked off/protected areas you don't want paint on. This is not a sprayer for finishing. Watered down DIY paint is ok for a mist coat but don't use any trade quality. Some claim it works straight from the tin but that's rubbish.Paint has to be like water to mist properly which worked with Leyland Matt but anything better was a nightmare.Max pressure is 1500 psi and most paints require 2000 psi. Probably great for fencing and very thin materials but not for final finishing walls and ceilings etc.As someone said it loses pressure after a few seconds with decent paint even when watered down by 30% which is 20 more than recommended.
I'm not one for leaving reviews but when a product or tool impresses me, I make the time to help others. Just finished building a house, run out of money for professional painters, so looked at options to do it myself. Purchased machine to my wife's dismay, and by god it's the best tool I have ever brought. You can paint an entire room with two coats of paint in less than one hour... the paint finish is incredible. As you finish the first coat, where you started is dry and I then went straight into second coat. Never again will I ever pick up a roller or brush!!
Not cheap, but it is an excellent piece of kit, and the long hose is very useful. I bought it to paint the side of our house, and whilst the results were less than great that was more a result of my ineptitude than a failing with the device. It does take a bit of "jiggering about" to get the spray volume correct.Be warned that it is not easy to use if you are unfamiliar with paint spraying (as I found out). This is not in any way, shape, or form, a criticism of the sprayer itself, but rather an advisory that you may not be able to pick it up and just create great results (which is probably common sense, really).
