I wanted to wait and test this properly before I wrote my review. 6 big rides down and I can honestly say that, for a keen road biker like myself, this was a great purchase and I can't recommend it highly enough!It tells you everything you need to know when you're out on a long ride, such as distance covered, time and elevation. Sigma also delivered the product very quickly as well.All in all, this is a great value bike computer that does everything. I'm well pleased.

After using a Garmin 800 Edge for several years, I was skeptical of any device other than a Garmin. My old Edge had a black and white screen; the menu had incredibly small print, and truncated route names after 16 characters. I never thought much about the truncation issue until after mistakenly loading a route that had "Reversed" after 16 characters. After surviving the Reverse route debacle, I vowed to get a new navigational system. I was underwhelmed with what Garmin was offering; the more I learned about Wahoo, the more intrigued I became.I have logged 265 miles of mountain road riding since purchasing the Elemnt, and absolutely LOVE it. All of this in a more aerodynamic, smaller computer that communicates with both ANT and bluetooth devices.The only reason that I am not giving 5 stars to the Bolt is that while the top LED display is easy to see in shady and overcast conditions; however, it is sometimes difficult to see clearly in bright light. The lower light display helps battery life, and hopefully as batteries and technology continues to improve, so will the options for increasing the LED brightness.Wahoo, you have a happy convert from Garmin!
This really seemed to be the ideal bike computer with GPS & this price point. The hardware really is well designed & the user interface ideas with the screen sizing on the fly are great!. But there are a couple of HW issues: the LED's are just low intensity & virtually invisible in daylight on the trail (limited usage too), and the GPS accuracy is not great. On a local 10 mile MTB loop fairly flat not heavily wooded, full cell coverage, not in the sticks, the BOLT lost .7 miles, phone in back pocket lost .2 miles.But the larger issues are its Software (device & app) that ultimately meant I had to return the device. I was easily able to configure the WahooFitness companion app to export my ride data to MapMyFitness. It’s a smart piece of kit. You don’t need anything else. It might not make you Peter Sagan but you will feel like him and have the stats to back it up when you use the phone app to upload to Strava.

A few cash flush riders,(N+1), I know use the Elemnt, even though they could basically afford top line Garmin's. Easy to set up, hopefully you've got Wifi at your home base! And of course a smart phone, with aforementionedStrava! The Elemnt is very easy to set up, comes with 2 mounts, a standard "Garmin style" handle bar youzap strap on, and an aero mount style one, that sits in front of your stem. I've got a Cervelo S2 aero, and Synapse 105C, so the aero ended up on the S2. The controls are easy to use, with a page button to scroll though a basic info screen, elevation, Strava segments, map. I'm also using a Wahoo Blue SC(speed and cadance), which I previously bought, but found to be quite poor on its own( you need to mount your smartphone). But in conjunction with the Elemnt, and companion app, it really works nicely. I've experienced a few wild readings with the Elemnt, top speed wise, and the auto pause is pretty sensitive to movement at stops. The screen is monochromatic, but very easy to read, and you can zoom in or out to expand or reduce the data coming at you. Overall, one month in, still a great upgrade from a simple bike computer. Would recommend!

Love the over/under indicator for power/speed/heart rate/cadence whatever you want to set it for. GPS function is terrific & completed the Lutsen 99er w/o getting loss last year (when few were on the trail). Love the ability to customize the screens as well as zoom in & out with the # of factors listed. Love the buttons rather than touch screen. Appears to be weather proof as never had any issues with rain & mud. Thing I wish it would do is allow you to scroll on the map when using navigation. You can zoom in/out but cannot scroll.
