This thing is heavy duty!!Be prepared for the bulkiness of the bag. However, the quality and comfort is worth it! This bag is crazy warm and has heaps of space.
Warm as and really comfortable. Although if your a cold sleeper like myself an additional inner blanket is good for temperatures close to zero or lower. It is a little bulky but worth it for the extra comfort. Totally recommend it.
I purchased this sleeping bag in July 2020 last minute for a trip down to Yallingup because I was concerned my other sleeping bag would not be warm enough in the forecast conditions. I used it inside an Oztent RS-1 swag mounted on an Oztent RS-1S stretcher.I usually would not buy a Wanderer product as it is the BCF “homebrand” and in my experience the products are poor quality however at the time BCF literally did not have any other brands in store (I am not sure if this is due to a shortage because of COVID 19 or because BCF is pushing their Wanderer products).The sleeping bag was very roomy and comfortable and I was very happy with it. However I used it in 3 degrees inside my swag while wearing a jumper, shirt and track pants and I was still cold. I don’t ... This kept my daughter warm and comfortable all night while sleeping outside at Uluṟu in June. She loved the soft flannelette lining. It is on the larger side but still very easy to get back in the bag. I would highly recommend buying this product.
This sleeping bag was magnificent! I’m a larger person and it wasn’t constrictive and tight like the others are. It was warm and comfy while I was camping at Wilson’s Promontory in the middle of winter. It is heavy, so no good for a hiking camp, but if like me you enjoy driving to your spot and setting up - it is perfect!!
So comfy - didn’t need anything on the ground beneath me with all the padding. Slept in -3 and was nearly too warm. It was perfect. I’ve been using it on the couch at home cuz I love how warm it is.
