If you want a perfect sleep with a swag then this is the solution. We used our Darche Airvolution 1400 with a 70mm mattress and slept like we were in high end motel.We didn’t find the center bars an issue and they angle away from you. I suppose if your after “snuggles” with your partner then it may be an issue but quality sleep when away is almost a guarantee with this addition.Being able to store and carry then separately is an advantage due the the weight of them.They feel sturdy and there is very little partner disturbance throughout the night.It has changed the way we will use a swag forever now and no more sticks, stones & ground ruts to cause that bad sleep.Damien at BCF Parafield was fantastic and his willingness to held and open it up for us to ... MoreIf you want a perfect sleep with a swag then this is the solution. Easy to set up & made camping much more comfortable. Was able to comfortably sleep me and my partner with our wanderer self inflating mattress on top. We had the best camping sleep ever. None of that rolling over on an air mattress on the ground and having the rocks dig into your back.

Great. Very comfortable. You need a lot of strength to put the end pieces in though. We had to resort to using a long screwdriver for leverage. Using our swag with the stretcher is so much better.

Does not fit together, end bars are too wide. If you try and force the end bars beside each other it puts too much pressure on the zip causing it to rip. Bad design, stretchers are good as a single stretcher.
This stretcher certainly feels sturdy and is wide enough to place a double sized swag on. Unfortunately I didn’t take into account the centre poles really emphasise the lump through to the swag mattress - not a fault of the stretcher of course but if you’re using this stretcher the way we are be prepared for an approx 30cm lump (width) in the middle of a double mattress once it’s placed on top. I must say that the stretcher folds down and sets up really easily and feels well made.
Strong, roomy and easy to assemble. We used a queen inflatable mattress on the base, there was easily room for a king mattress. Just don't over inflate your matress and it's quite comfortable. Also versatile as two king single stretchers.
I recently purchased the Wanderer Tourer Extra Wide Queen Stretcher from BCF and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I had been searching for a solution to get my sway up off the ground and this was the perfect solution. The stretcher is strong, sturdy, and provides a comfortable night's sleep. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high-quality camping stretcher.
Despite the obvious partition in the middle this has made sleeping in the swag that much better. Incredibly easy to set up, light weight to carry and small enough to store anywhere. Highly recommend.
I have a large Burke and Wills double swag and this was the only stretcher i could find to fit it. My wife and I, found it very comfortable on a recent tour of the southwest over 6 nights. We added a wanderer self inflating mattress and could not feel the middle bars.Assembly was reasonable, the yellow stretcher bars on the ends were difficult to fit and require a fair bit of strength to install. Packing up was a little cumbersome, but we got used to it after a few days.
Nice product easy to ensamble,but the only part I think the manufacturer can improve is the zipper to joint the stretchers,it is like having a mountain in the middle and sleeping on a double mattress is not comfortable at all.I think the quickest solution is having to separate matters. :(
