As a larger person I wanted to feel secure in my night sleep. This stretcher definitely met my criteria - sturdy, comfortable and easy to set up and pack away. The extra width meant that I could use the inflatable mattress on top and still have room on the edge of the bed for handy items that I wanted close at hand.I didn’t realise that the extra length - which was great for sleeping! - made it a tight fit for myself four person tent (so do check your measurements), but I was still able to get it in there and I have no regrets. Slept on this stretcher for two nights in the Grampians without the need for a air/foam mattress on top but just a good quality sleeping bag. It was really comfortable and didn't lead to waking up with any sore back. The wide size allows you to roll over without the fear of rolling off the side of the stretcher, it does take up a good amount of room within a Wanderer 430 extreme tent with enough room left over for two smaller single air mattresses. It can wobble from front to back a little if you move during the night and it is a bit difficult to get the last yellow end piece on without another persons help and getting it into the bag requires a second set of hands to tie everything together.

Being a bit on the older side I find it hard to get off the ground of a morning. I find this stretcher while doing research and purchased it. Very easy to set up, unfold the frame, roll the end legs under, spread the main frame and fit the stretcher bars. Pack up in reverse, no danger of pinching fingers. Yes, it does move a bit as you get settled. When packed away in its bag is a lot smaller than other stretchers.

Great recommendation by the staff member. Assembly is straight forward, assemble the head cross bar first, the foot cross bar has elastic to allow insertion. My 12 yr old son was able to assemble, if do it the other way around its a lot harder to assemble. Disassembly simply remove the cross bars foot first then head. Bring the sides together, flick the head and foot legs out with your feet, then bring the sides down, gather the legs up. the canvas goes around the legs not in between like expanding stretchers. The stretcher performs well and good size. those wanting a softer feel will need a mattress if not using a swag.
Perfect size for my Crashpad swag. Construction is high quality and very good value for money. Pack up and set up are super easy, and packs up nice and small. Loses one star because it is a bit unsteady in the head-to-toe direction, especially for it's weight. This isn't a problem when sleeping in it though.
It is larger than I expected, but that is a good thing for me. It only just fits inside the 'bedroom' of my Wanderer 8 person Touring Tent. I also appreciate it has wide soft rubber feet, as to not risk damaging the floor. However I'm not sure I like that the end poles go onto plastic collars. I would have preferred they were alloy as I can see them breaking off. Thankfully I have a friend with a lathe if that happens. It is ever so slightly smaller than the Anaconda Dune version, but MUCH smaller and LIGHTER when packed up.
A bit tricky initially (decent bruise under a nail) until I worked out how it goes together. Wiggly getting in and out but super stable once you are on it. Comfy enough. Spent a week on it, I’m a big guy but not massive - one side bent where I was getting out of the bed and one of the main struts kinked - I bent it back into place when I packed it away. Overall I reckon this is a good product and I would recommend it despite the bendy bits - I’m hard on stuff (no pun intended)
I owned and used one of the stretchers in combination with a swag. The materials it is made of are confidence inspiring and the aesthetics of the colour scheme are pleasing. It does wobble quite a bit end to end when you’re actually getting into bed, but isn’t too bad. Probably not the best option for someone who tosses and turns a lot. Unfortunately the stretcher is also let down by the design of the unfolding mechanism, on more than one occasion I badly pinched myself trying to unfold the left and right legs upon setting up. This is not due to negligence/stupidity of the user, it is due to the way the left and right legs unfold outwards. You can buy this product with confidence!Initially, I purchased one of these swags to provide extra comfort and better sleep on the Harvest Trail. They are roomy, comfortable, and supportive. It worked very well inside a 3 person tent over a couple of months. (Family style tent.)Suggest that with that much use - well short of 240kg and 12 months - any minor design issue would show up.Advice for the longest life try and get in only from the side... put your body in the middle... and this product will serve you well. If all else fails, BCF is fantastic at honouring the warranty.
Bought this to try and give my swag more comfort. Woke up from first night w stiff neck. 3 trips to Physio and now two to chiro I nearly have fixed my pinched nerve in my neck from the bar on the end. Pity. Was a good trip. In retrospect the design could be improved.
