After many years of suffering all the other horribly sweet, cakey gluten free breads, I am so incredibly pleased I decided to bite the bullet and try this.It tastes phenomenal. It's like regular bread! All it's missing is a nice firm crust, but honestly I don't care. Like most GF breads, it's better toasted, the texture is never quite "right" with any of them un-toasted due to the lack of the gluten, but this one is also great for sandwiches.Yes, it's painfully expensive, but so is all GF bread, at least this one tastes decent. I simply slice this up and freeze it and have a few slices toasted and slathered in butter as a treat.

We've tried basically all of them now and this is by far the best. Lovely texture that really holds together well, not too high in sugars, and tasty crust. Only down side is the price.

This bread has a much better texture than any other I’ve tried, so close to regular bread. Those leaving a poor review must be expecting miracles! Of course, if you compare it to a freshly baked wheat loaf from the bakers then you will be disappointed. But I find it to be really delicious, definitely preferable to any other GF loaf. I eat it sliced as is, slathered with dairy free spread. Shame it’s so expensive, but as it’s a premium product I don’t mind.

Looks a little different to standard but the taste is incredibly similar. Really tasty, cannot tell its gluten free as no compromise on taste. Bit of a small loaf but worth it.
Normally when I order tiger bread the first thing I do when the shopping is delivered is chop of the crust and add plenty of butter and enjoy it at it's freshest. I was so disappointed with this loaf. The crust was spongy and the bread had no flavour. It didn't even make a nice sandwich because it was quite dry too.
If you’ve been gluten free for a while, you’ll understand my excitement! Cuts without crumbling into a thousand pieces and tastes like Spanish breakfast rolls. Lovely with cheese . I put in freezer for 20 mins before cutting then slice wafer thin . I keep frozen and it doesn’t seem to deteriorate, plus it’s resistant starch too then! Absolutely yummy!
Tried for first time, actually bought reduced to try. And I could eat the whole loaf! It’s so good, I’ve just had toasted so far. And it’s like a treat. I do wish it was less cost but I paid £4 for another brand and it was awful, so this is great. GF for over 2yrs and it’s the best bread I’ve tasted, it’s soft but tough round the edges (a bit like me - haha) and I love that it’s celiac safe as they bake the GF in a safe environment.
I'm very picky about my gluten free bread as some are truly bad, so I tried this with little hope that it would not be great. I was so pleased to find that it's very, very like a 'normal' loaf of tiger bread. Even my husband who loves 'the real thing' agreed that it's very good. It's nice crusty on the outside and the texture and taste of the inside is surprisingly nice too. It makes lovely toast and is good for sandwiches too. Well done Warburtons and well done to Ocado for stocking it too. Please don't stop! And a bigger version would be very appealing as well....
This is the best gluten free bread I've found, hands down. And I'm fussy. It keeps well, toasts brilliantly, and can be sliced thinly for sandwiches with no difficulty. I keep finding it out of stock everywhere, which suggests other people have discovered how brilliant it is too! Please never stop stocking this, Ocado.
I have bought this a few times - I was initially impressed with it as the texture etc was very good, but it does have a strange chemical/plastic type smell and taste. Waitrose have introduced their own gluten free tiger bread and it's far superior to the Warburtons version. I did get sent this as a sub when the Waitrose one wasn't in stock one day and I discovered I really couldn't stomach the strange smell and taste any more.
