Weber Bar-B-Kettle Charcoal Kettle (57cm) - Blk/Blk

Really useful old style kettle bbq. Big enough for cooking a whole chicken over indirect heat. Great for social gatherings. Together with Weber renown quality and durability.

Appears to be good quality, but haven’t used yet, so can’t really comment. It’s a reliable brand, which was the reason I chose this one, and a very good price. Also great delivery information, driver lifted box inside house for me, as it was heavy. Very good service.

Excellent Kettle BBQ

This is the second Weber kettle bbq we have purchased. Great quality and always cooks food perfectly.

Good Quality

The quality is exactly what we expected from Weber, the only thing that is a little annoying is that the central grid does not clip in any way to the main grid, so if you take grid off if you don't hold it horizontally small central grid falls out - when hot this is not ideal.

Great product at Weber's 'budget' end

Had the product for about 12 months and used it many many times for various cooks (Impromptu evening meals, family parties, low and slow smoking etc) and it's been awesome throughout. Can be a pain to clean, but then what barbecue isn't?Kept it outside over winter with a £5 supermarket bbq cover and it worked a treat - would recommend

If your looking it ain't cooking!

Bought this BBQ to maximise our outdoor pleasure.Have owned a Weber kettle before and had many years of successful al fresco meals.This was the smaller 47mm diameter one they say is big enough for 6 people.......I think it just about manages that.We normally cook using the indirect heat method for most of the cooking and only put the meat over the coals for the final browning.This means you don't have to watch it all the time. Keep the lid on, as they say " If your looking it ain't cooking!"All the Weber kettles come with a little self assembly, it took me about 10 minutes to sort out.Quality of all the parts are good or very good. Just like when I was a kid

I grew up with a Weber in my back yard, and when I saw that you have them here in the UK as well (I'm from California) I was thrilled. I bought this for our small family of 3, but when combined with the oven to hold food warm, or cook side dishes, it has easily fed 10 people. My grandfathers weber lasted for over 40 years, that I know of, and could still be around (my aunt gave it away when he died) so I am hoping mine lasts as long as well. Great product, if you take care of it (cover, clean) it will take care of your families BBQ needs for decades.

Rusting not covered by warranty

BBQ purchased a few months ago, it’s been used 3 times and only stored inside. It’s great to cook on however the lid has multiple chips which are rusting. This really doesn’t make sense since it’s been well looked after... Tried to return to B&Q for a replacement who said we were just over their 45 day return policy but not to worry, Weber pride themselves on their 10 year warranty. Contacted Weber online and was told surface rust doesn’t count, the holes/rust have to burn right the way fully through the lid! This is very misleading and a real disappointment given we decided to pay extra for Weber given their good reputation.

Weber BBQs are the best

I've had this weber for at least 10 years... solid performing weber.. I alternate BBQ 's between this one and a smoky joe (when its just two of us bbq ing). This is a simple bbq with huge capacity ( you can roast two large chickens and basically youd need a lot of coal and a lot of food to cover it fully.) Rust wise I used to buy cheap bbq (like 25 kettles) and they would last a year or so but the weber has endured 10 years and still strong just the screw on the top air vent is rusty but no impact to performance ( and generally I'm not particularly good at looking after stuff).... One small tip... when putting together make sure you put the wheels on the right side... as pictured... so you are able to pull bbq using the handle... not sure if thats in instructions or ... MoreI've had this weber for at least 10 years... solid performing weber.. Well worth the investment

I bought this BBQ last summer and I am so happy I spent the extra money on it! I love how you have enough space to BA able to have the charcoal on one side and then cook whole pieces of meat on it as it acts as an oven. I've cooked chicken, pork joints and the usual BBQ bits. I even cooked a piece of meat on it on Christmas Day! Excellent quality and you will find any excuse to get it out
