I purchased two of these for my Genesis II, grill I wasn't sure if I needed one or two since its the larger grill. One does light the whole grill surface, and the auto off when the grill lid goes down is great. The one issue that I have is the mounting ring, the two plastic clips on top do not hold making it difficult to mount light on and off after grilling. The just don't catch when mating up and the whole mount flexes making alignment to slide light on/off annoying. Something so simple turns into... really?!?!? I went with Weber just because of their reputation of quality and this light really falls short. I wonder if the second one I HAVE as a back up now will be the same way??? I love my grill!!

I bought two for my new large Weber s435 grill. A very bright light that equally and fully illuminates my large grill when using two as others recommended.I only use my grill about 6 times in the summer months and mostly during daylight so I do not need to turn on the lights. I use the lights about 4 times per year usually in spring and fall. I remove the lights for winter and remove batteries to prevent batteries leaking. But once installing the brackets in the spring ofmy third season, one does not tighten on the handle. The plastic tabs are either broken/bent or too weak to hold the other half of the bracket. I only tighten the screw just enough to prevent the bracket from slipping around the handle as its plastic, to maintain the lighting head position. ... MoreI bought two for my new large Weber s435 grill. Weak plastic tab that doesnât âclickâ strongly into light fixture. The bracket mounting also needs to be designed better/stronger.Otherwise itâs a winner. Excellent light output evenly placed bright white light across my whole grill surface.I would received this only if it came with a 5 year replacement warranty

This is my first time using apple wood in any of my smokers. I smoked (reverse sear) a pork tenderloin and some baby back ribs. I'll say that I missed the deep smoke ring I get from the hickory wood pellets. Using the same methods I use when smoking with hickory pellets, I got a mild smoke flavor and lighter smoke ring. The overall flavor was nice, but it lacked that deeper "punch" of the hickory. My guests enjoyed the flavor, but personally, I'd stick with hickory for my smokes. I love the performance from the Weber pellets. As with all of the Smokefire pellets, my only complaint is that I cannot pick these up in my local retailers. The only way I can buy is online. For some of the other pellets like hickory and grillmaster, they are inconsistently available as in-store pickup or being able to ship them to me in reasonable times and consistent ways. Amazon is full of scalpers shamelessly selling at two to three times the price. My most recent time, I purchased three bags of pellets direct from Weber, which made the shipping free. If these pellets can ever find their way onto store shelves locally, I'd be a ton happier.

These Cooking Grates are the same as those that came with the original Weber grill when I purchased it in 2002. I had to replace the original Cooking Grates when they rusted out. Weber replaced them at no cost under warrantee. Weber sent me the "then current replacement" cooking grates. They were stainless steel bars, not at all the same as these Cooking Grates. They first set of replacement cooking grates never seemed to fit that well. ALthought the "held up" I finally decided to refurbish my Weber grill and when I found these cooking grates that were the same as that came on the grill with my "original" purchase, I had to get them. I am very pleased with these Cooking Grates.
Iâm not sure who OKed this as an official accessory, but it doesnât match the solid build and materials of the SmokeFire smoker itself. This looks and feels very much like a Wish-made knock-off.The metal is very thin, which causes it to flex under just a moderate amount of weight. The attachment points are very loose; youâll need to be careful when raising and lowering it, so that it doesnât slide right off. Iâm hesitant to use it, because Iâm afraid that my food will end up on the ground when inevitably collapses or just falls off.Iâd avoid this, and either build your own shelf, or just use your deck table like I do.
This is my review in response to Weberâs recent email asking me for feedback on the metal tables I bought about a year ago. Even though I donât love the metal tables I bought, I remain a loyal Weber customer.I have two Gen2 Performers; one at home and one I keep in our travel trailer at the river. They are my absolute favorite barbecues to cook on because of the gas assist to light charcoal, the charcoal storage bin for quick re-ups, and the built-in side table, which is so handy for everything from prep work to just having a place to set my cold beverages down while I tend to the food or the charcoal. As the workhorses in my Weber corral (apologies to my Ranch, 26âer, MT, OTG, and SSP), I thought replacing the original plastic table on my Gen2 Pâs with the metal ... MoreThis is my review in response to Weberâs recent email asking me for feedback on the metal tables I bought about a year ago. As the workhorses in my Weber corral (apologies to my Ranch, 26âer, MT, OTG, and SSP), I thought replacing the original plastic table on my Gen2 Pâs with the metal table would be a nice upgrade for them. I was wrong. Yes, the original gray plastic table looks drab, can crack, and grease and food stains can be difficult to remove, but I would switch back to it in a heartbeat if I hadnât already tossed it in the recycle bin after I installed the metal table on the Gen2 at home. Thankfully, we havenât gone to the river in about a year, so I havenât yet switched the one in our travel trailer. The metal table is black to dark gray with lighter gray/blue accents in an orange peel sort of finish. From a distance, it looks great on the W&S Grass Green Gen2P in my backyard, but when you get close you can see grimy grease and dust âstainsâ on the table. I have not been able to remove all of the grimy stains with hot water, Dawn dish soap, and a 3M blue kitchen sponge because too much pressure scratches the metal table and then youâre left with little rust spots. The metal table top is flat with nicely rounded edges, so thereâs no worries of snagging anything or accidentally lacerating your appendages. My magnet-backed ThermoWorks thermometer base sticks to the table like super glue, but the metal table gets really hot during the summer months and other accessories or spilled liquids can easily roll off. This rarely happened with the original plastic table because the rounded edges are higher than the tableâs âwork zone;â sort of like the indentation around a good cutting board that keeps all of the juice from running onto the counter. I gave it two stars because installing the metal table was super easy and it fit like a glove; however, I highly recommend finding a spot to store the old plastic table because you may want to re-install it after a couple of months. Better yet, skip the metal table and spend your money on a customized, hand-crafted wood table replacement. Thatâs what Iâm going to do next time.
This is a very high quality table that makes our vintage grill look so good!! My husband was thrilled to replace his old plastic table, which had cracked and stained over time. It's a 5-star table, but we gave it only 4 stars because . . . our Weber is older than 2005, and the bolt hole pattern is different, so we had to drill two additional holes to align with the exsiting grill frame. If only Weber could have added a second set of bolt holes to accommodate "vintage" grills, it would have saved a lot of installation time! And, I bet a lot of folks would happily buy this table if they new it would fit their grill.
First let me say, I love my grill and everything about it, exceptâŠ.take a guess, the composite top. Mine cracked after three years. Yes, I moved it over a ledge by picking it up for a brief moment by the table to get it up over the lip. I read a review response that said, you shouldnât pick the end up by the table, but it is almost impossible for an old man like me to bend so far down to pick it up by its legs.I would love to replace the table top, but at $150, I just canât fathom it. I will continue to use my old cracked table. I agree with many reviews, it should be at least discounted, because it truly is a design flaw. I expect more from Webber.
When I bought this EX4 pellet when it first came out I was exited that Weber finally was making a pellet grille. I was looking to buy a pellet grille & smoker for quite awhile but couldn't find one that I really liked. When I arrived at the Keim store I went directly to the grille dept..When I told the store salesman I wanted to look at the smokefire grille by Weber, he seemed very excited about the product. I to was very impressed with the appearance & the quality of the construction compared to other pellet grills (I was sold)..So I purchased the grille thinking I bought an exceptional product. After I started using the grille problems started showing up 1st.pellets do not advance to the auger even though Weber gave you a stainless ramp to install in the hopper. the engineers should have checked this out did'nt work..2nd.problem: glow plugs don't last used about 6 in 2years.3rd: the auger started crapping out & many more problems. I went back up to Keim Lumber as I also buy woodworking tools & other items there. While I was there went over to the grille dept. started talking to the manager of the dept about the problems with the Weber pellet grille. He listen to my problems & said he would relay my complaints to Weber. Keim is one of Webers biggest wholesale customer. Weber sent a lot of parts including a whole new hopper assembly. I replaced the hopper assembly & the redesigned auger, but the real problem is Weber this grille should have been tested & used at the factory before putting it up for sale. Now that I have this EX4 & all the problems that go with it I just want everybody to know. Weber has never owned up or tried to make restitution for their mistakes,I never even got an appolligy. By the way Keim lumber discontinued selling Weber pellet grilles...
I bought this grill in May 2015 used it in good weather 2-3 days a week. Living in the north that means we shut down grilling from November to May every year. However, as the pictures depict the slim finger I will call the part that inserts into the mail two part grates has corroded to a point that it will not stay in place without spilling the food into the grill flames. I really think this part should be replaced at no cost.
