I have few comments/ suggestions which hopefully Weber can incorporate into the grill for a better consumer experience.1. The instructions are visual drawings only … written instructions under each drawing would be helpful.2. The grill is obviously designed to be moved around. However, the wheels are located under the “fixed” side table rather than the “folding” side table … this makes rolling the grill awkward, specially after it’s been used. This issue can be corrected by either relocating the wheels under the “folding” side table, or making the “folding” side table a “fixed” side table, or making it a 4-wheel grill.3. I found the gas line hose quick-connect to be either defective or extremely difficult to connect. I can't report the durability of the plastic wheels and stationary leg feet. Check other long-term reviews to see if they don't split like other brand grill wheels & feet. The Improvable: grates lack a front finger hole to lift grate for brushing grate bottoms, stick-on badge next to right burner knob and Spirit name plate both applied crooked that makes grill look cheap, propane tank holder fits most, but not all tanks. Reported reliability of the i-Grill 3 needs to improve before I buy one.Tips: regardless of what Weber says about no-stick techniques I've found the best practice that works every time for me is to use the Weber no-stick spray lube: preheat grill at the heat setting to be used for that food item: Example: burgers: preheat, medium heat to 450°, get everything ready for quick access, lift top, spray a little squirt right where one burger is going and put it immediately on, squirt next, quickly put next burger on, repeat, repeat, repeat, close top as quickly as possible not to lose too much heat. Then stainless steel brush the tops of grates right after taking off food - let cool, lift grates and brush the bottoms to dislodge hanging pieces. If there is a big crusty blob of burnt grease on a flavorizer bar I knock it mostly off with the brush then, but I don't scrape the rest unnecessarily. Voila, ready for next grilling with a nice, clean shiny, pre-seasoned grate.I hope that helps. This Weber heats pretty darn evenly front to back and side to side for me - unlike my last two grills, making it much easier to get a batch of burgers or steaks at the same doneness. I use Bluetooth meat thermometers always- but not the Weber brand until reviews of reliability improve. This and the crooked badges are the 5th star deletion. If I could have given 4 1/2 stars I would have, because everything else is excellent!

This was something of a "toss up" between 2 others. iHowever having had a Weber for over 20 years I decided to stick with the beast I knew and what with the free cover inc' -£127) it was a relatively easy choice. It arrived promptly and was extremely well packed. The JL delivery team were extremely professional and positioned the package exactly where I wanted to assemble it.Without any doubt whatsoever this is a 2 man (or woman or even man and a woman) job when it comes to assembling the BBQ. All parts are well packaged however it would be useful if each bagged part has an ID on it to tally with the parts list on the assembly instructions. However this only happened once or twice. All in all it wasnt to bad and we had it fully assembled in a couple of hours or so.One thing I would recommend is to identify all the parts and lay them out say on the lawn like I did adjacent to the assembly point rather than keep on diving into the box to retrieve a part. The BBQ once assembled proved to be a robust good looking structure. All I need now is to find the cheapest 7K gas bottle. There seems to be big diff's in prices. Currently Im favouring my local supermarket.

This Spirit II E-310 is my third weber grill. My prior two weber grills were spirits also. My first I had for 16 yrs and second fir 15 yrs. I didn't wanted a good reliable grill but something that wouldn't break the bank. The installation was somewhat confusing looking at the schematics of the manual. I recommend downloading the app. Once I did that, it went together know problems. I should mention after the grill was built, it is very sturdy. Make sure when turning the gas on that the lid is open and all burners are in the off position. Then turn the first burner on and push the igniter button. If not done in this order, the safety feature will slow gas flow and the grill will not heat up past 200 degrees. I made this mistake and have not done since. The grill heats up to 500 degrees pretty quick. The porcelain grates are awesome to cook on and the grill heats evenly. No hot spots I grill out 3-4 times a week in the summer and fall and must say the grill is actually the best of the webers I've owned. The ease of placing anything from meat to vegetables on the grill and shutting the lid and letting the grill do the work is quite fun. The eveness of the cooking and flavors have been fantastic. I would recommend this grill to anyone in the market for a nice looking, sturdy reliable grill. Worth every penny.
I grew up with Weber, specifically their charcoal line. After purchasing a home, I knew I wanted to make this investment and commit to something that I knew would last a long time. I did plenty of research before landing on the Spirit II E-310. As a novice cook, one of the reasons I wanted this specific grill was because of its compatibility with the iGrill3 thermometer. It is advertised EVERYWHERE that it works with the badge on the Spirit II line. After assembling the grill, I was hit with an addendum stating the right table NO LONGER came with the badge. How in the world is it appropriate to still advertise it as compatible but not include it in the actual grill? I have tried every method of contacting Weber for clarification. Via email, I received one response and it was automatically generated and included the instructions for installing the thermometer (assuming the badge was still on the grill!!!). Via phone, customer service had zero idea the grill was shipping without the badge so they had no suggestions other than to use the thermometer and just place it on the table.Cherry on top, I have owned this grill for a little over a week and now the warming grate is constantly falling off. You can tell it was produced with very little room for error and the slightest movement of the grill or high temp will cause it to fall off.As someone who grew up with this brand and trusted it with my first home grill, I will not be coming back. I expected much more from Weber.
The Weber Spirit II E-310 has pleasantly worked as advertised. The assembly directions were easy to follow and did not take long. The heating start up is easy and all 3 burners light with the hood open as compared to other grills where you have to close the lid and let the gas build enough to light the remaining burners. The grill grates work great for any meal being prepared as you have the ability to flip them over for a grill surface that matches whatever item you intend to cook. The cooking is even everywhere; even with the burner settings on low with some wind in the area. We even clean out the burner box so that everything looks just about brand new for the next usage in order to prolong the grills life expectancy. The coating on everything makes it easy to do this after everything cools down enough to work with. I would reccommend this grill for anyone who wants a quality grill that tends to give you consistent results. This is definetely a grill that gives you your moneys worth.
Bought this grill from a local small hardware store after doing lots of online research. Assembly went smoothly, and the construction is pretty solid. The grill did have one bent leg, which may have occurred in shipping, but I was able to get it straightened out adequately after a few minutes. It's a good looking grill. Controls work smoothly, fit and finish are good, and the features are about what I'd expect for a grill at this price point. It starts up easily and heats to temp in about ten minutes. It'll max out the thermometer, at about 700 degrees. My only gripe about the grill is that it doesn't sear well. Actually, in the technical sense, not at all.The grill will get very hot, and it's great for cooking chicken, hot dogs, burgers... But it won't put even a slight char on a piece of meat.-Sure, you'll get darker grill marks, but that's because the grates get hot. But the rest of the meat doesn't get any char.Three different times now, I've cooked a nice pork tenderloin in a sous vide, and tried to finish it by searing on this grill. The grill just won't sear it. I COULD get it to char if I left the meat on there longer, but then it overcooks.-Additionally, when grilling corn on the cob, if you like some nice charred spots, forget it, unless you are willing to leave it on the grill for awhile, and don't mind the corn overcooked.I'm going to hazard a guess that the flames are just to far away from the grate to be able to sear, so you get more of a high-heat baking effect. When searing pork tenderloins on my charcoal Weber, where I can get the coals as close to the meat as I'd like, results are perfect.Bear in mind, I haven't tried doing a full cook on a steak yet, because starting off with the sous vide keeps the meat tender and juicy. This is probably a decent grill for cooking burgers, chicken or other things that require indirect heat, but it's not ideal for more direct heat applications.
Owned the grill for about a year now and had high hopes for it. I had a weber Mini-q grill for over 15 years and loved it, so i saved up for this one hoping for the same great quality however...First and most important, major issues with the gas regulator. The one supplied uses a cheap plastic retaining ring near the hose that if its put under any stress (even mild stress), it gives way and allows gas to escape out the side. I obtained a replacement from Weber, which I thought was great at the time (maybe i was sold a faulty one), but after installing the replacement and placing the tank back on its hanger, i could hear gas escaping again anytime the hose was not situated perfectly strait where it connects to the gas tank. Propane will escape just next to the black screw on connector that you use to tighten the regulator onto the propane tank. This really seems like one of the places where you might not want to cut corners as having a gas leak in any circumstance could cause a fire / explosion. At this point it appears as though i will have to obtain a decent gas regulator from another source since the model supplied (made in China), leaks way to easily. After a search online, I see others have complained about this same issue. I can see a date on my replacement regulator (7/21) that may be its manufacture date. The grill works well for cooking most of the time, but can struggle to get to a suitable cooking temperature if the ambient outdoor temp falls below freezing, or has significant wind passing by. Also if you attempt to move it, and lift it by the tray opposite the wheels to roll it, the tray can detach from the size of the grill, as its not sturdily secured with the hardware provided. This grill can also blow over in the wind if you put a grill cover on it as the base is not heavy enough to hold it by itself (I now weight it down since that happend 1x and left a dent in the lid).Fun fact: About a week ago i got an e-mail from Weber asking me to write a review / leave feedback about my grill, and I took the time to write everything above, and include the photos. After posting the review was added to their site for a few hours and then and e-mail arrived that said "Our team has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" Guess they don't appreciate criticism.

This is such an effortless, highly effective grill that has made my life easier! Compact in design with a small footprint, the actual cooking surface proves to be more than ample with a handy upper grill for food that needs a little more indirect cooking. The large circular knobs mimic the iconic Wolf ovens with their little chunks of cherry red strip. The propane gas tank has an intelligently placed hook that holds it in place on the side and also gives an indicator of how much gas is left. The grills are very nice and thick imparting excellent grill marks onto the food. I've used this several times and never fail to walk away with succulent, delicious tasting food for the family! A definite winner and no-brainer for a top notch gas BBQ that will inspire you to ... MoreThis is such an effortless, highly effective grill that has made my life easier! A definite winner and no-brainer for a top notch gas BBQ that will inspire you to fire up the grill more often. I also decided to purchase the pricey grill cover that was made for this model, it is very easy to throw over (once completely cooled down of course) and has simple and effective velcro fasteners on the side to cinch in within seconds. Worth the price. After recently owning a now bankrupt company's electric/charcoal fusion BBQ, I am more than pleased with this Weber and will always come back to this brand.
