This grill has all the things a person would want. Start with the size, one of the biggest grills. The controls on the grill are easy to use, and light up at nightso you don't need a flashlight. I've already cooked on it many times and was just in the heat It's simple. Looking forward to using the rotisserie this fall. Solidly made, I hope it last another 20 years or more like my last one.

My recommendation is, "Check other grills on the market before you invest in a costly grill of this type. There are many other finer grills out there " I wish a could return this grill, that's how dissatisfied I am.

I have had Weber's for 30 years and this E 670 was something I wanted for a long time . The old one is 20 year sold and still works like new.The 670 is a wonderful BBQ. I have it for at least 6 years now it is easy to maintain and keep clean and I use it at least once a week and in even -20 C temperatures. I like the infra red burner - I get chicken started on direct heat turn to indirect heat and put on the infrared burner. The chicken gets crispy with no flare up and I turn it once. The chicken is juicy and delicious. Steak to perfection every time with controllable sear marks. Roasts, sausages , pork chops beautifully done. It is robust reliable and easy to clean. I have had a knob break in -20 c but the replacement is easy to get and inexpensive.

I had been wanting this model for a long time before I decide to go ahead and get it. I was not disappointed. I BBQ from spring through fall and have never had a problem. I have used all the features and they work great. The biggest challenge that I've had with this grill is not over cooking the meat because this grill gets very hot. It's wonderful that you can get an even heat no matter where you put the meat on the grill. The heavy duty hood is very good at keeping the heat in. I love the side burner which is great if you have a side dish. I like the rotisserie which cooks perfectly, especially if you use the infrared burner at the end. The quality of grill is very good. They really thought out the maintenance and cleaning of this product. It's so easy to clean ... MoreI had been wanting this model for a long time before I decide to go ahead and get it. They really thought out the maintenance and cleaning of this product. It's so easy to clean the drip pan and the rest of the BBQ. The only very minor con with this grill is that the gauge for the fuel tank isn't as accurate as I would like, but it's not real bad. It tends to show less fuel than what is actually there.
I had an old Home Depot weber give out on me after over 15 years of heavy use (well it still worked but was getting pretty ugly), and I decided to splurge and get this grill with a natural gas hook-up.I have had the grill for six years now, and keep it covered when not in use. It still works great and is a fantastic product. I have other grills, pellet, gas, charcoal, etc. - but this is the best of them all. It is versatile, dependable, durable, easy to clean and maintain. Just a fantastic product if you can afford it.My parents were so impressed with it that my mom got my dad one as an anniversary present. If you are reading this, you are doing your research and all I can say is just buy it. You will be happy.
I'm basing this review on a grill we USED to own, not the new one since I haven't had the new one long enough to form an opinion. However, it's essentially the exact same grill we inherited 7 years ago from the owners of our former home, with perhaps a few very minor updates. I was very pleased with that grill (large surface area, good heat control, relatively easy to clean), and from what I've seen so far of the new one I'll have little to complain about.Assembly was relatively simple and connecting to the natural gas stub on the patio was painless (despite a balky bit of pipe). All burners fired up the first time and I'm looking forward to putting the grill to work!My only words of caution to others are:- When it's new the interior is all shiny stainless ... All burners fired up the first time and I'm looking forward to putting the grill to work!My only words of caution to others are:- When it's new the interior is all shiny stainless steel. That won't last.- Don't forget there are batteries involved that will need to be replaced from time to time.- The "flavorizer bars" (the metal bars over the burners) WILL corrode and need to be replaced.- Cleaning the large grease catch pan is a messy business. I tried lining ours with foil, but the foil just glued itself to the pan making an even bigger mess. And don't forget to empty out the smaller drip pan.I researched other grills in this size range and I still think this is probably the best bang for the buck. Happy grilling!
Often times when companies go public the quality gets sacrificed to increase profits for the investors. This seems to be happening with Weber. I had my Genesis from 2010 and it was rock solid and reliable. I upgraded after 12 years to the summit expecting to get an even more upscale product but i was very wrong. The knobs are flimsy and almost to sensitive to be on an outdoor grill. I do like how the sear station and rotisserie work. The stainless grates are still well made but the hood and doors are thinner than previous years. Is this grill worth the money I would say yes but I don't see this grill lasting more than 8 years. Hopefully Weber reads these reviews.
I’ve had this grill now for a few months and thoroughly enjoy its versatility and performance. I don’t always need the entire grill to cook, but with the large grill area, I can use all or only part of it to tailor my needs to the size crowd I’m cooking for. The sear station is another welcome feature. It gets very hot when needed to quickly sear and seal any piece of meat. The built in rotisserie is also very handy as I was always looking for and assembling my old one with my previous grill. The one improvement I would recommend is to upgrade the wheel casters to something along the lines of a 3 or 4 inch rubber locking caster. This is a heavy grill and would roll so much easier with these type of casters. It would also add a nice “upgrade touch” seeing as how ... Love it! We replaced our old Summit from the late 1990's. I have appreciated all the features and large cooking area (which is a major reason we stuck with the Summit). I am new to rotisserie cooking and used it (so far) to make duck, beef roast, and a pineapple. All worth the effort. I like that the smoker box has a dedicated burner. The sear station is more handy than I originally believed it would be. It is great when I sous vide something and just want a quick sear.Still trying to figure out the hot spots and cool spots. We made bratwursts and had the whole grill loaded. There was some juggling around with the hot/cool areas above the same burner lines.I like the storage for the rotisserie forks and rod. Side burner works as advertised. Boiled water for corn ... MoreLove it! We replaced our old Summit from the late 1990's. I have the summit e670 for a week now, the 3rd night I smoked ribs, OMG! I have owned Weber grills for almost 40 years and they always cook great food, but to call this summit a step up would be an understatement, it is far and above any grill I own! I still have and use my 1997 Genesis 6000. When the Q first came out I bought one and love that little grill. But this summit is by far is the best Weber has ever made, bar none. If there is one thing this grill can't do I would like hear it. This is funny. When I came with the Genesis 6000 all those many years ago my wife asked me what I spent, when I told her it was 750 dollars she went off on me big time, I cooked dinner on it and was off the hook. But when I told her I spent 3549 dollars on this new Summit E 670 all ... MoreI have the summit e670 for a week now, the 3rd night I smoked ribs, OMG!
