Weekend Eau De Parfum Spray by Burberry - 50 ml

I’m a huge fan of the Burberry Brit perfume, so I was curious to try this in one of my recent subscription boxes. While it isn’t bad, it’s just not for me. It has a floral scent, and I don’t usually care for strong floral notes. I also think it leans a little more on the “mature” side. But it has good lasting power and, while it isn’t my favorite, I can see why someone would enjoy it. Overall, it is a good perfume, it’s just not great for someone who doesn’t like floral scents.

This sensual scent brings me back to crisp, autumn days. The woodsy cedar notes are an absolute perfect complement to any cool day or night. It’s classified as a “floral fruity” scent, but on me, it definitely pulls more of the warm vanilla and cedar notes. The top notes are fruity upon opening, with peach, pear, apricot, black currant, and green apple. The middle notes are more floral with jasmine, moss, and sandalwood. Finally, the base notes (which on me are the most noticeable and last the longest) are a warm inviting vanilla, fresh cedar, and musk. This is such a beautiful fragrance. If you love cedar, you’ll love this!

This was my high school signature scent, I was completely obsessed with the perfume. I would get a bottle every single year for Christmas. I hadn’t had it in my collection for quite some time, and decided to repurchase and I still LOVE it. I very compliments when I wear it, every single time. The dry down is a musky vanilla scent, but it’s not overpowering. It’s a very playful perfume, as it has cool pear and black currant notes in it as well. Would recommend and have repurchased so many times.

I was gifted this parfume by my fiance. I immediately slapped some on and fell in love. The smell was instantly floral and after having it on for a little, there were slught fruity hints in the scent as well. It is not so florally where I feel like an elder at a Sunday service which is what I look for in a floral based scent anyway. The scent is long lasting and fresh so I know when I leave a room, my scent will linger. Again, something I look for in a parfume. It does remind me of the first run of Gucci Bloom which was my absolute favorite parfume that I owned. I also admire that you don't need a ton of the product to reach optimal scent and linger status. I will continue to use this product until my fiance brings me another.

DISAPPOINTING

Burberry Weekend for Women Eau de Parfum was on special offer with a substantial discount. I thought it sounded just right for ordinary daytime wear, but the scent was so weak, I found myself wondering whether it was a fake. As an OAP, I also wondered whether my sense of smell was failing, but friends agreed that minutes after the initial spray, there was no discernIble scent. DISAPPOINTING!

Excellent Perfume & Customer Experience

Not your typical review... sorry in advance! Backstory: Every year for Christmas my dad gives my mom a bottle of perfume (and always the exact same one lol). My dad was hospitalized in November of 2020 (he passed on December 9), and before he passed he texted me saying that he wanted a bottle of this specific Burberry perfume, he didn't say who it was for and I actually never got to talk to him about it. I believe one of his nurses must have used this perfume and that's how he found out about it. Before the lock down I went to a few different malls and stores and I wasn't able to find the perfume anywhere. I was so happy when I saw that it was available on FragranceX. Fake Burberry Weekend perfume

I got the fake slimmer bottle from Walmart too and am very disappointed. Definitely smells different than the true Burberry Weekend. when I ordered I was led to believe that I was getting their signature bottle style so I would never have guessed that I was going to get a fake? Not until I opened the box and saw a totally different bottle shape. And it sure doesn't smell near as good as the real Burberry Weekend! Unhappy customer here!! 😕

It’s the real one.

I saw a lot of people say that it’s supposed to be from France, but if you look on the website, it says from France or Germany. It smells the same like the other 30ml that I had before (and it lasts just as long) It came sealed and had everything like the other bottle did. I was a bit skeptical at first buying this perfume for cheap (the original price is 112$) but if you decide to buy perfume from Walmart online, make sure to check that you can return it to Walmart to make it easier if it turns out to be fake (check the return policy and make sure when you see the part where it says “returnable to store” it says “yes.” Better than losing all that money for nothing, right? I would recommend buying this specific seller.

Very pleasant and not over powering.

I struggle to find perfumes that don't trigger migraine. This one has a noticeable aroma, which, at first is strong, but does tone down to a pleasant level. It lasts for hours and hours. I don't think I cod wear it on days when I feel a migraine patrolling, but it is much better than many others. I personally think it is lovely.The only reason it is 4 rather 5 stars is this is my first time trying the product and I've only had it a very brief time so far.
