Weleda - Calendula Intensive Body Cream Baby 75ml

Ordered this a couple of days ago and just came in the mail this evening. Ordered it for comparison purposes to the Pipette baby lotion. This one is okay. It does feel soothing but I particularly don’t like that it feels very greasy after absorbing and thick which is not really my preference honestly. It almost feels like it will do some clogging or irritation to my skin. Also, it takes some working into the skin. I tried to put enough to cover my entire arm from the shoulder on down. For those that it matters to, it has relatively clean ingredients. However it does have fragrance as an ingredient although the claim is that it’s from natural essential oils; just for reference.

I heard so many good things about this product as a face cream before I tried it for myself and I can confirm, this is one of the best face creams I have ever purchased. I was initially weary as the consistency is quite thick and I have combination skin, but I have been so happy with it as it absorbs well in all the right places and doesn’t effect my oily areas. I now confident enough to go out without makeup and often get several compliments on my skin. The Weleda skin food in the green tube is equally good.Also, My daughter has eczema and this is the only thing that helps her.Would recommend to everyone as this is a good all rounder and can be used by the whole family!

Enthralling Nourishment for Baby's Skin

I've been using this cream and it's simply fabulous. The nourishing effect it has on skin is truly remarkable, thanks to the essential oils and the rich calendula formula. The fact that it contains no synthetic preservatives and is made with natural extracts is a bonus! It soothes dry, irritated areas, making the skin soft and not causing any breakouts. However, I wish the product size was bigger and the price a bit lower. Despite that, the results are well worth it.

Good quality and ingredients. Suitable size and packaging. Scent is strong and weird . Benefit the hair and scalp in your age. If your scalp is sensitive try moisturizing afterwards. Use it once or twice a week and compose it with conditioner. It helps the removing of dandruff off your scalp, but it dries the hair so much. Texture good for the season gentle and frequency

This face cream ticks all the boxes for me. I trust the Weleda brand and love that their products are a lot more natural than alternative brands. It has a lovely thin consistency that goes on smoothly and rubs in easily. You don’t need to use much product to get full coverage and the moisturising effect, so the product lasts for a long time and is good value for money. It does not leave an oily residue like some other face creams. The smell is pleasant yet not overpowering, which is important to me because I tend to get overstimulated by strong, artificial fragrances.

I have been using this face cream on my young daughter for about 5 years. It’s the only one I trust that’s aimed at children. My daughter can get a dry (sometimes flaky) face from washing and the general weather. We use this cream once a day, sometimes twice, depending on what her skin needs. Only a small amount is needed, and it is easily absorbed, without leaving any residue. Her face looks moisturised, healthy and has a lovely glow. The scent of the cream is gorgeous. She loves to dab it on herself and rub it in. Obviously I supervise to ensure it doesn’t get into eyes.

Nourishment for My Sensitive Skin

The Weleda Nourishing Body Cream is fantastic. Its lack of synthetic perfumes and inclusion of essential oils are major pluses. The star is the rich cream calendula formula, which soothes dry, irritated areas. As an individual with allergy-related eczema, it's rare to find a lotion that doesn't cause a reaction. This cream not only avoided causing a reaction but also improved my skin's texture. The scent is not overpowering. Highly recommended.

There is a thickness to this cream but it easily spreads as it seems to melt as it warms on the skin on impact. Though this is definitely a saturating, hydrating cream it's not too greasy and works well under make-up that is absorbent like mineral powder foundations.So this feels very nourishing and rich and if skin is in need of something like that then this moisturiser is fantastic. It feels soothing on parched dry skin and so I don't mind putting this on the back of my hands or dry elbows sometimes too.
