Another top product from Wells. Blends in greys naturally, doesnt look artificial. Easy to use and lasts for about 20 washes before fading out.

Didn’t work

I bought the silver violet semi permanent hair colour off of beauty bay to dye my sisters blonde hair (it isn’t light blonde but it’s not dark so surely would have had a little tint at least) followed the instructions, even left it on for an extra 10 minutes! And her hair didn’t even change ! Not even a tint. On the website it didn’t say to use on beached hair. So I thought it would have worked ! Waste of money . Only positive is that it smells nice.

Great Way to Refresh Red Tones

I am a hair dresser. I love the feel and result of the hair. The developer smells super nice, the color its self smells a little earthy but overall its great for a sensitive scalp. Ive used this in the salon and loved how they could be used to refresh vibrant red tones or gently blend in the root. It dosent last very long but you can get your color to last longer before you need a touch up on the regrowth. Ive used /56.

I am not mad at it

I bought this to use on my own head (all in the name of science.) I am about 50% gray and sick of the harsh line of demarcation. I SWEAR the level 88/07 lifted me at least a 1/2 level to a level. It says demi-permanent and recommends using the dedicated developer. I did that, and it lifted my regrowth. It was also on the arm side, but very pretty. I would like to see some ashier colors for the higher levels. It's possible that the store was just sold out. I need to look at the swatches. Still, the 88/07 gave me this gorgeous and seamless golden blonde in my regrowth area. It smells great and the big bonus is the 1:2 mixing ration and SHINE. I kind of love it, but would love to know if anyone thought their client's hair lifted a bit? I wanted to stop using wella permanent color and this did the trick. I am about 50-60% grey mostly on top, of course. Less messy than permanent, less smell, and doesnt seem to fade too much after 6-7 weeks of washing 2-3 times a week. Lasts long enough to when I have to re color due to growth. I only apply to roots each time.

Lasted two washes completed mis sold wasted money

Got my hairdresser to apply this product, followed the instructions to the letter left it on for the longest time required 20minutes was pleased with the colour but it lasted 2washes??This said it would last up to 24washes, I understand it will vary on people but two washes is not acceptable due to the price of the products and I had to pay my hairdresser to apply itI contacted wella direct there was no apology they just said it varies on different hair types and recommended I spend more money on another one of their products?! My only favourite!

I have been using Wella Color Touch at home for almost 4 years. It is so easy to apply and it leaves me with shiny and natural looking hair. It fades out nicely, so I don't have to maintain the color if I don't want to. It didn't work a couple of times, but that only happened because I didn't have a good blank canvas. Now I have really learned how to use it, I can do a root shadow, highlights, lowlights ect - all of it on my own hair.
