We tried this on top of kibble to get a bit more liquid into our cats as they don't always drink a lot and it worked a treat. They loved it. The chicken was actually real chicken, not awful processed looking meat and there was enough broth to get a decent amount of liquid into the cats. A couple of tips when opening the pouch as there is a lot of broth is to open over the sink and don't squeeze it, so you don't lose any. Only problem is now they won't eat kibble without this on top as they loved it so much.

Each pouch contains a small amount overcooked strands of chicken and copious amounts of what appears to a mildly fish scented water. Neither cat would touch it.I'm so tired of having to buy packs of 12 for expensive cat food that ends up in the bin. Certain other retailers sell singles. Guess I have no choice but to go there.

We use this in addition to dry cat food. With a sensitive constitution I love this extra treat as it has just 4 ingredients with no additives. My ragdoll also gets additional fluid with the broth. The expense is well worth it.

This cat food looks just beautiful. We used it to pour over kibble for our fussy cat and she absolutely loved it. Just note that it isn't complete and balanced, so isn't designed to be a meal by itself, but is great as a topper on dry food to make it irresistible to even the fussiest cat.
My cat adores these. She especially loves the broth. It can be harder to get her to eat the chicken at times.I like that in the ingredients everything is recognisable snd it's legit the product advertised.
I have had cats for years, and never had this issue before. Whoever designed these pouches probably did not try to open them? If you carefully open with scissors and tilt the package in a way to not spill anything, you're good. But if you're in a hurry, and want to open it with your hands like you normally would, the fish sauce/broth is on your hands andon the floor/countertop. Every. Time. Not purchasing again. Not worth it.
This product is the only thing Ella, a Maine Coon, will reliably eat. Other foods have a 50/50 chance, at best. She drinks all the broth immediately, cycles back and finishes the tuna hours later. As a kitten, she would eat something one day, reject it the next, and I never knew how it would go. (All with high quality foods, I think I tried every item in the Wellness wet food lineup.) For Ella, the other flavors are ok. The tuna is IT, every time.
My cats have been eating ORIGINAL and PATE for years, and today I came across the SIMPLY SHREDS product line at my local pet store. I have been wanting to have my 6 year old cat drink more water but failed, so when I saw that this product has broth in it I jumped on purchasing. My cat LOVES it. He drank all the broth and ate all the shredded tuna. I only have 1 complaint, which is the packaging. It was soo hard to tear open the pouch despite having 2 guided cuts on the sides. I ended up spilling some of the broth and had to cut open the pouch with scissors.
My two cats go bonkers over the Chicken Simply Shreds. They LOVE them. I split one package between the two boys after their regular wet cat food dinner. The shreds consist of good quality shredded chicken meat in a broth. The stores always seem to be out of the chicken version so I have ordered online from Petco.com. I would highly recommend the shreds as a supplement/treat in addition to your cat's well-balanced regular food.
I bought these as my usual go to Wellness Signature was out of stock, not realising they are a meal topper or snack and not a complete and balanced meal. It doesn't say this anywhere on the description, you have to look closely at the picture. I will still use them and my cat seemed to like it, but I hope others realise this is not a complete meal.
