Our dogs adore this toy. It's slightly squishy so when they bite it it gives. Its light enough they can toss it themselves. They love to play tug, chase fetch almost anything with this toy. Best is keep it away from Dad. LOL.Our flat coat retriever will grab this and start chewing on it, then run around tossing and picking it up. If my husband goes to pick it up he'll race over and swoop it up off the ground and then run circles around him (husband) while zig zagging close to hubby for him to attempt to grab it from his mouth. It's quite comical to watch the pair of them in the front yard with this toy while dog is leashed and harnessed. After a while he'll get tired and I think he eventually let's Mike grab it so he can throw it for him to run and fetch. Then ... MoreOur dogs adore this toy. Definitely the best dog toys I’ve ever seen. Incredibly durable. The toy(Bumi) i had for my dog before buying Zwig lasted for a whole year. And it was for moderate chewers. So instead of buying cheaper toys that don’t last, i would recommend everyone to buy west paw toys for their dogs.I ordered a large Zwig from the website, which is a bit bigger size than what I expected but I’m happy with it.

Reese likes to play tug of war and fetch with his Zwig. This toy is durable and is a great fetch and tug of war toy. It is long enough and Just the right distance to keep my fingers out of harms way when Reese gets too excited during play time and goes to grab the Zwig and almost gets to close to grabbing my fingers. Great interactive and exercise toy.

This is a great product for playing tug with your dog. I knew based on the description that this was not for tough chewers but bought it anyway because I wanted a long tug toy. As long as didn’t leave it with my American Staffordshire Terrier to chew on after playing tug, it lasted. The moment I left it with him to chew, it was destroyed within a couple of minutes. I would love to see West Paw design a tough chew tug toy similar to this design! My dog tend to gravitate to long sticks which is why this toy was great until he had it to chew on.
My Kelpie/Cattle Dog Mix, Olive, loves this toy. I like the material because it's not too heavy. It's bouncy so she likes to run around, drop it, pick it up and then chew on it. It keeps her occupied when I am busy with getting her food ready. Instead of begging she plays with her Zwig.
We got this because someone else in the park had it and my dog was obsessed. She still is! It's one of her absolute favorites for tug o war and fetch. She's a pit bull mix and this toy seems like it's super durable and will last us a long time.
We love West Paw products and this one is probably our dogs favorite. It is strong enough to withstand the powerful mouth and constant chewing of my dogs. The elongated shape makes it great for sharing between the two and it handles it like a champ! It's a bit bigger than expected being a bit bigger than my forearm but that doesn't stop them from enjoying it to the fullest.
I own and operate a professional pet sitting business and have been looking for quality super chewer toys for some of the super chewer dogs I take care. And these toys are it!!! None of the dogs have been able to chew these toys apart. They play endlessly with these toys. I love the colors of the toys as we still have snow on the ground and they're easy to find in all the white powder. I absolutely love how you can return these toys IF they get destroyed and they'll be recycled. It's because of this I have placed multiple orders since my first order. Highly recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this in the mail. The size is larger than expected but perfect for my very large Doberman Pinscher. I feel like this is a very durable and fun toy for large and extra large dogs. When I first received it, I was a little unsure it would hold up because it’s flexible and most of the chew toys I have for my dog are that heavy heavy plastic that doesn’t have a lot of give. However, This has held up great so far despite the heavy chewing! Would love to try other things from this brand that claim to be durable. Would definitely purchase again.
Our Aussie loves this toy. In all honesty there haven’t been any from West Paw we’ve had that she hasn’t loved. As. Pet parent I love that this toy is durable, yet isn’t as solid and hard as the toys noted for heavy chewers. Just nicer to the furniture and bodies that might get hit when throwing it around. We give it a 10/10!
