I purchased this kettle for my daughter and she loves it.
Absolutely fine kettle. Works well. Pouring Spout can be improved by making it pointy rather than broad. A little amount of cold water is stored near the filter which comes out first. That's the reason of awarding one star less than the perfect!
This kettle is such a massive disappointment. Within 3 uses limescale built up and has been building up ever since. It’s only about 3 weeks old and it has happened very quickly. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.
Kettle boils quickly and fairly quietly and pours well as the spout is a good shape and size. However was really disappointed when we took it out of the box to find that the handle was a cheap-looking, chrome-effect plastic. The handle looks shiny and cheap compared the body of the kettle, which is a lovely brushed stainless steel. Not what you would expect from a kettle at this price point. The pictures on the website don't really show the handle, and now I've seen it I can see why. Such a shame as otherwise it's a great kettle.
After some research, this was the best kettle on the market that uses the least amount of plastic. I especially didn't want the hot drinking water to touch any plastic for health reasons as plastic release horrible chemicals when heated. It also heats up very quickly
