Beautiful cooktop - but beware of potential installation issues if you're upgrading/renovating. The maximum power draw is 54 Amps... which can be a problem as older stove wiring is typically only either 32A or 50A. The installation manual suggests two-phase installation (for 40A + 14A separately across two phases), but my electrician has tested it and said it's not a genuine two-phase device - but rather, two independent active phases with a single shared neutral that still carries the full load. Unfortunately, this has been a problem for my house that has a 50A three-phase main circuit breaker. Westinghouse has not been helpful via phone - they refuse to connect my electrician through to someone technical. Newer house builds with a 63A main breaker should have less ... MoreBeautiful cooktop - but beware of potential installation issues if you're upgrading/renovating. This is a sturdy,well-made, attractive stove which is easy to clean. The cooktop is well laid out, responsive and easy to maintain. I am on a fixed income and really stretched my budget to buy this I do a lot of baking and am disappointed that I still have to open the oven halfway through the cooking time to rotate the cookie trays or cake tins to ensure even baking. Surely the technology exists nowadays to make having to do this a thing of the past? Overall, it produces a good result with some tweaking. I must say that I expected more from an Australian made appliance that retails for around $2000.

I wanted to replace my old oven which was gas top electric oven that was over 10 years old. I choose this oven because i loved the look of it and we use our little air fryer all the time so thought having it built into my oven means one less appliance sitting around. First of all i love this oven it looks very stylish and well fit in with my kitchen. Its also Australian made in Adelaide and i thought why not support them plus its a good brand. But let me get one thing clear i wish it was advised that the oven will need more amps to run on. I was expecting that they will take my old one out and put this one in and i was wrong. The amps my old oven run on was very low and this one pulls way more amps then first though. Which meant the Electrician had to run a more powerful line in which ended up seeing us pay an extra $1100 which left me in tears because it was a cost i wasn't expecting. Had i have known that it was going to cost extra to get it to work i would of brought a different modal and probably kept to using my old air fryer. So if your in an older house looking to upgrade please be aware of what its going to cost to have it installed.

It looks nice,it had missing parts, that westinhouse sent out to me, they were helpful. After a few uses, I am finding the oven doesn't cook in the normal time frame. it only came with one telescopic rail, and being such large racks, I needed them for each one,I had to buy them and they were expensive. It takes at least another hour to cook a roast, which is really frustrating. Sometimes it cooks perfectly, but other times, it takes too long and doesn't seem to brown the food, just goes straight to burn. The stove top doesn't clean very well, and also the electronic knobs don't always show the temperature the food is on, it somehow trips back to an A. I am not sure why, if this is a feature, or if I have received a faulty unit. I am waiting for Westinghouse to get ... MoreIt looks nice,it had missing parts, that westinhouse sent out to me, they were helpful. Easy to scratch the stove surface. Few long gaps at the back of stove which is not possible to clean if something dropped inside High/Low level for stove are not significant. Rather it based on the size of circle. Oven is good in general. Based on price and function, I still recommend it. Delivery is fast and safe. Highly recommended Price changes everyday. Worth to wait. Made in Australia. Well done.
Youll have to look up on YouTube as to work out how it works. Minimal set up instructions. No booklet included like in all other electrical purchases to help with installation and functions. Only one set of sliders included, would have been better with 2 especially for the price. Definitely like gas cooktops better.
Overall I am very happy with my new oven. The only frustrating part was I continuously tripped the fuse Christmas day when I had the oven and all cooktops running at once. Although this is not (well I doubt it is) the ovens fault it just left a slightly sour taste in my mouth. Having multi-zoned cooking spot is great where bigger pots are required and cleaning is a breeze compared to the old gas cooktop.
The team at Appliances On-line were great ... sorted delivery around Christmas with no issues. The Stove is as expected .. It was a replacement for an older/similar model - so I know what I was getting .. but I must say that over time, there are differences. Hot-zones are a single light on the stove top (the old one had one per hot plate). The griller isn't a pan any more (now a wire frame). The elements are a bit smaller and seem lower powered. One issue is that the Oven racks aren't parallel in the oven I received (they lean to the left) .. but I'll live with it. I guess it's how the world is theses days .. corners/costs being cut etc .. which is a shame as Westinghouse is (and still is) a good brand. I'd still recommend this oven for anyone needing a new oven
We were looking for an Electric Oven and Cooktop to replace our Gas Stove. What a beautiful product that Westinghouse have made. Not to mention it’s Australian made. Has Airfry function and twin fans to make cooking a breeze. Only thing to mention is it uses a lot of power to run. Much more than a standard oven. We had to upgrade power cord running to Stove to accommodate it. We don’t mind as we have heaps of solar power to run it and we could cut off our reliance on Gas.
I bought this one to replace my previous Westinghouse Ceramic top stove. Unwrapped the packaging and opened the oven only to have the door rubber fall off and was quite difficult to refit it. The grill door seems flimsy and the oven door, although should be easy to clean appears to be very cheaply made. The ceramic top previously had 2 large hotplates, the new one only has one large and 3 small. Definitely not up to Westinghouse quality of old. I doubt it will last as long as my previous stove.
