I bought this maybe 6 months ago now and it has been my favourite oven yet. With the option of rapid heat which allows you to cook quicker is amazing for me especially if I am running late. Live the feature of half or full grill. This Westinghouse Oven cooks all my meals amazingly and I will stay with this brand from now on due to its great features and actually doing what iis ment to. It cooks your roasts beautifully. I love my Westinghouse Oven and I know have purchased a Westinghouse dishwasher shich haa also become my other favourite appliance. So happy with my Wedtinghouse appliances that I cant wait to try more of their other products.

We have consistently stayed with Westinghouse products due to their longevity and performance. We recently purchased this oven as a replacement for a similar Westinghouse unit that served us faithfully for over 20 years. How things have improved over that time. This new unit is beautifully designed and performs effectively and quietly. We love the range of cooking modes and the efficiency of both the oven and grill. The fast heat up and convection oven features in particular have drastically reduced cooking times and the results for things like cakes are excellent. We would recommend to others without hesitation.Only one word of caution. Do have this unit professionally installed, particularly if replacing an older unit. Don't assume that just because advertised ... MoreWe have consistently stayed with Westinghouse products due to their longevity and performance. We are very pleased with the new Westinghouse Oven.Having had the previous model (white) for 13 years we took to this one seamlessly.I have only one little "Gripe", this is a stainless steel fronted oven and as such I find it hard to manage the temperature settings. Previously the settings were black on white background in a "clock face" pattern. Now they are black on stainless and grouped in a crowded pattern.Apart from that we are very pleased.

Bought this Westinghouse WVE665S oven about 4 weeks ago. It heats up very quickly on the Rapid Heat setting. Reached 250 degrees C in less than 15 minutes. Loaded 4 extra large pizzas (had to add an extra shelf) in one go and all of them cooked very evenly when switched to Fan Bake after preheating to 250'C.Have cooked roasts, cakes and quiches and all done to perfection. Our old oven took about 40 minutes to heat up so this Westinghouse is a time saver as well as being more economical to run.The cool touch glass door is a good safety feature and the controls are simple to operate and understand. The separate grill works well but the handle on its slide out tray gets very hot and I need to use a glove or tea towel to slide it in and out. A heatproof handgrip would be a worthwhile improvement and, also, much safer for the unsuspecting user.Installation, in our case, was fairly easy and it only had to be raised about 10mm to cover the gap at the top left by the old oven.If it lasts as long as our old St George (30 years) I'll be very happy.I would highly recommend this oven to anyone considering purchasing a new oven.AppliancesOnline price matched for us so we got it for a good price.
Heats up quickly, is quiet and has plenty of features. Well priced and looks good. Please note, it only comes with two shelves and you have to share one with the grill. It would be nice if it came with an extra. The one thing I don't like is that there is a lip at the front of the shelf which makes it difficult to slide a baking dish in and out. This is particularly a problem if you are baking something in a water bath like creme caramel.
We bought this oven to replace a 40 year old Simpson which was slightly larger, thus we were left with a 30mm gap at the top of the cavity where the oven was a bit too short and didn't quite meet up the cupboards. We got around this by getting the Appliances Online installer to fit a metal strip which cost an extra $250 (an extraordinarily expensive amount to pay for a small strip of metal).Anyhow, once we go over that, the oven looks good - sleek and modern - and has been working well for the last three months. We particularly like the rapid heat function. Easy to use and cooks cakes and pies particularly well. Just a couple of minor complaints - It has a digital clock which only works in 24 hour format and also the oven light stays on whilst cooking. Silly idea really. This so is annoying if you eat in the kitchen and you have the bright oven light shining in your eyes.Overall, though happy with purchase.
The oven was bought to replace another Westinghouse that had just past its due date. 33 years of great service. So far a great product. Looks great in its spot and works the way we want it to. Easy to use. It isnt pyro or steam or air fryer. If an easy to use oven with seperate griller is what you need - this is the oven to get. A couple of interesting issues. The internal oven light is always on when cooking. The display is fairly bright and lights up the kitchen. Great when you want to go to the fridge in the middle of the night - dont need to turn the kitchen light on. And lastly- would love to have another oven rack. Comes with one and I would love to have two.
I like the oven's having a stand alone grill and more that the grill is constituted so that I can select to cook on just half of the grill. As I live by myself and only occasionally have visitors this is a useful feature. Compared with my previous oven this one heats rapidly and has the ability to use a timer and to chose various options including to defrost frozen food, to bake, to use just a heating element in the lower half of the oven, to bake , to choose fan forced and to apply rapid heating if required. While I am still learning to use this oven thus far I am completely satisfied with its function. I also want to state that the team who installed the oven were polite, efficient and friendly.

(I reiterate for clarity you can put your fingers up between the 2 sheets of glass, so this acts as a trap for rising steam/fat molecules and is positioned immediately above the grill opening) Our old oven use to steam up the front of the glass door, and had a sealed bottom, the new one hasn’t.You have to remove the inner glass sheet to clean, this has to be done every couple of grills if you want your oven looking clean/new. Very expensive item if it breaks during cleaning. The grill is next to useless, the side rails have been positioned very poorly if you use the top slide rail it’s too close to the elements (literally your food would get stuck to the element) if you use the next level down it’s to far from the elements and grilling takes a long time on this level to cook what your grilling. You can have half or full grill heat? If you close the grill door during grilling or while its still hot, the plastic door surrounds melts. The wire shelves are extremely thin about half the thickness to my previous model, the side slide rails only have 1 side wall anchor point which makes the side rails flimsy / loose. My older oven had 2 anchor points.Supplied with the oven is:• A tin plate tray (biscuit tray)• 2 wire shelves (one slung shelf and 1 straight shelf). Advised by Customer services you have toalternative the straight wire shelf between oven and grill.• A brown enamel rectangular tray with a wire insert. No actual dedicated grill pan.The oven wire shelves have no stops on them, they slide all the way back to hit and back enamel wall which will over time chip the enamel baffle. The whole shelving arrangement has been designed extremely badly. Both wire shelves have a declined surface so both back and front of the shelves are sloped inwards, this makes it very hard to remove hot baking trays / pots as you have to lift the tray/pot to remove from the shelf you can't slide it off or the shelf would come with it..I would consider this a serious health and safety issue doesn’t the government have to approval products sold in Australia for public safety?Extremely disappointing purchase. Will avoid Westinghouse product in the future.
I can't use the oven as it is still standing on the floor of my dining room where it was dropped off on 28/10/2021. Paid $1269.00 for the oven then an additional $344.00 for installation. Was assured by the sales person that it would be an easy job as all ovens are standard. The contractor assessed the job and said that wasn't the case, which was fair enough as I had read the fine print before I committed. Problem is I agreed to an extra $90 call out fee to finish the job on the installation date 28/10/21, the additional carpentry work was completed in December 2021 and I'm still chasing up the installation late January 2022. According to the 'good' guys the job was completed last year and the 'reliable' contractor who has took my money won't answer my calls. Scammed.
