Whilst it is very light SS stamping it Isa far better design with the trivets having their own location. Our other unit has an Electrolux(older model) where the trivet is located by the cast top of the burner. This .eans if you accidentally knock the trivet you upset the burner head (very poor)

Easy to clean

Pros Large and easy to cleanCons Unaware that we needed a powerpoint to plug in for ingnition of the flame. We assumed it would be auto ignition as with our last cooktop. So we need to spend money on an electrician.Can't have too large a pan or pot on the front burners as it covers over the on/off knobs.

Great Cooktop

We replaced our old Westinghouse cooktop with this one and it’s been such a improvement. The size was slightly larger which meant cutting the bench top, but they no longer make the same size as we had before. Easy collection at store and ordering online.

It would have been nice to know.

I bought this cooktop with the expectation of being able to replace the existing one of the same size and brand. But in the great wisdom of Westinghouse they decided to make a 90cm cooker a different size so now I'm left with trying to cut the hole larger and because I don't own a carpentry shop the tools to do so are costing me extra. If I new it was going to be such a nightmare I may as well bought German quality in the first place.

Love this stovetop

We really love this stovetop, it is big and spacious. I like the safety mode (not sure if it universal these days) but it cuts the gas off as an extra safety measure.

Nice

This was a replacement for a black glass cooktop purchased in late 2020 that exploded on us a couple of weeks ago whilst cooking dinner. Thankfully no one was injured.This new top is lovely, so much easier to clean and the trivets arent has heavy and bulky as the other one, making it look much nicer in the kitchen.I recommend this unit 100%

Nice looking cooktop with good layout.

We bought the cooktop to match the Westinghouse new wall oven we had purchased. We bought both items at the same time and they were delivered together. Wall oven fitted very easily, as did the cooktop. This cooktop is a true 90cm cooktop and no changes to existing 90cm cooktop cutout was needed (this unit dropped straight in). Buyers beware when purchasing a replacement 90cm cooktop, a lot of the others on the market are less than 90cm and as such the cutout for them is less (would NOT cover the existing cutout fully and would leave a gap)! This cooktop is a TRUE 90cm unit and fitted easily. Only issue we have noticed is the ignitors can sometime take a while to light the flame. Powerful and stylish

We bought this cooktop from good guys Mandurah. Good guys are as usual will never disappoint with generousity and services, as for the Westinghouse gas cooktop we bought base on the brand reputation, and for sure, yeah again Westinghouse products proven to be some of the best. When we tested this appliance after was fitted by the licenced gas fitter, the heat was coming as strong as near commercial level. Unbelievable!!! I am a professional chef and I never thought I will have a powerful cooktop as good as this. When it comes to design, yes it is simple but so slick and stylish, it goes very well with a new modern kitchen. After all the cost of this cooktop is so reasonable for what it is. I recommend this products

Rusting and scratching

Rust marks started to appear almost immediately and cannot be removed/cleaned. In addition, the trivets have left large scratch marks on the surface. This is supposed to stainless steel but clearly is isn't as it is magnetised. Very poor quality. Do not recommend.

Trivets Very Heavy

Very hollow and light weight base. Feels like it's built by very thin steel. The trivets are super heavy. Only just started using it.Over all looks good.
